Monforte approves the July Home Assistance registries

The Local Government Board of the Monforte de Lemos City Council approved, in the session of August 17, 2026, the public price registers for Basic Home Help and the Dependency Law corresponding to the month of July 2026. The agreement was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo number 197, on Saturday, August 29, 2026, through the collection announcement signed by the first deputy mayor, Gloria María Prada Rodríguez, acting on behalf of the mayor by decree of June 21, 2023.

The announcement, which bears the reference R. 2310, collectively notifies the receipts derived from these registers in accordance with article 102.3 of the General Tax Law 58/2003, of December 17, and directly affects the users of the service and their families.

Payment deadlines and public exhibition

The voluntary payment period for the registers is set between September 15 and November 16, 2026, in accordance with article 62.3 of the General Tax Law and article 13 of the General Ordinance of municipal public law revenues.

• The registers will be open to the public for 20 days, counted from the first day of the voluntary payment period, to present the relevant claims.
• Once the voluntary payment period has elapsed, debts will be demanded through enforcement proceedings, including executive period surcharges, late-payment interest and, if applicable, costs.

Appeals and claim channels

An appeal for reversal may be filed against the agreement approving the registers and their settlements within one month, counted from the day following the end of the public exhibition, according to article 14.2 c) of Legislative Royal Decree 2/2004, of March 5, which approves the Revised Text of the Local Treasuries Law.

• Against the express or presumed resolution of the appeal for reversal, a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed in the form and within the deadlines established in Law 25/1998, of July 13, regulating the contentious-administrative jurisdiction.

Regulatory framework

The approval of the registers is framed within the General Ordinance of municipal public law revenues of the Monforte de Lemos City Council, which regulates the public exhibition and collection of municipal public prices. The collective notification of receipts avoids individualized notification to each taxpayer, under the protection of the General Tax Law.

The publication of this announcement in the provincial gazette provides official publicity to the agreement and opens the deadlines for claims and payment, so that users of the Home Help and dependency services of the municipality must be attentive to the calendar to regularize their obligations within the voluntary period and avoid surcharges.
