Monforte opens 30,000 euro grants for new local businesses

The Monforte de Lemos City Council announces the 2026 Entrepreneurship Promotion Program, endowed with 30,000 euros in grants for business creation. The call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo (BOP Lugo) no. 225, dated October 1, 2026, p. 13, with reference R. 2580 and identifier BDNS 931522. Applications can be submitted until October 30, 2026.

• Small and medium-sized enterprises (SME), regardless of their legal form.
• Time requirement: must have started business activity between November 1, 2025, and September 30, 2026.
• The start of activity is considered as the registration in the Tax on Economic Activities (IAE).
• SME status is determined according to Annex I of European Commission Regulation (EU) No 651/2014.
