Mondariz publishes the final list and calls for the AEDL exam on September 24

The Mondariz City Council has taken a definitive step in the selection process to temporarily fill the position of employment and local development agent (AEDL) technician, after approving the final list of admitted and excluded applicants, appointing the qualifying board, and setting the dates for its constitution and the first exercise. The resolution, signed by the Mayor’s Office, was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, number 177, under file 700/2026.

The call for applications had been approved by a Mayor’s Resolution on July 14, 2026, and its extract was published in the BOPPO on July 23, 2026, number 139. The process responds to the need to replace the permanent official with a right to job reservation and also includes the creation of a reserve list for future vacancies.

Admitted applicants

The final list includes 14 admitted applicants and none excluded. The admitted candidates are:

Qualifying board

The board will be chaired by María Esperenza Goyanes López, AEDL of the As Neves city council, with Marcos Gómez González, AEDL of the A Cañiza city council, as secretary. Serving as members are Carmen Fernández-Valdés, labor guidance technician assigned to the Employment Promotion and Local Development service of the Pontevedra Provincial Council; Antonio Abel Seoane Estévez, employment training technician from the Human Resources and Training service of the Provincial Council; and Rosana Velasco Pérez, local employment technician from the Ponteareas city council.

Serving as substitutes are Marcia Couñago Fragueiro (chairperson) and Sonia Iglesias Carrera (secretary), both officials of the Mondariz City Council, along with members Rosa Corbacho Fernández, José Antonio Piñeiro Sineiro, and Lucía Vecino Fernández.

Process dates

The constitution of the board will take place on September 17, 2026, at 9:00 AM, in the plenary hall of the Mondariz City Council or electronically. The first exercise will be held on September 24, 2026, at 9:00 AM, also in the plenary hall.

The members of the tribunal shall abstain from intervening when the circumstances provided for in the legislation of the legal regime of the public sector occur, as well as if they have performed tasks in the preparation of candidates in the five preceding years, in accordance with article 13.2 of Royal Decree 364/1995. Candidates must present themselves provided with their DNI or another reliable document proving their identity, along with the material means necessary for the practice of the exercise.

The resolution, which is published on the electronic headquarters, in the transparency portal, and in the BOPPO, shall be reported to the corporate plenary in the following session. The filling of this AEDL position is key to the promotion of employment and local development in Mondariz, as the technician will be in charge of managing employment promotion programs and support for unemployed persons in the municipality.
