Molinos de Duero presents the renovation of river networks to the public

The City Council of Molinos de Duero has initially approved the valued report for the network replacement and paving works on the riverbank, Phase I, corresponding to work no. 170 of the 2026/2027 provincial plans. The approval was formalized through Mayoral Resolution no. 189/2026, dated September 22, 2026, and the file is now open for public inspection for a period of ten days. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria no. 113, dated September 28, 2026, page 3334, with the official reference BOPSO-113-28092026.

The procedure is based on Article 93 of the Revised Text of the Legal Provisions in Force Regarding Local Government, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 781/1986, of April 18, and Article 83 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The body promoting the file is the City Council of Molinos de Duero, whose mayor, Miguel Bonilla Cornejo, signed the edict in the town on September 23, 2026. The valued report was drafted in September 2026 by the Civil Engineer Ángel Millán de Miguel.

A ten-day period and two consultation methods

The announcement opens citizen participation under these conditions:

The work, within the 2026-2027 Provincial Council Plan

The action is part of the cooperation program of the Provincial Council of Soria with the municipalities of the province, known as the Provincial Council Plan 2026-2027, which finances works under municipal jurisdiction. Within the same framework, other similar files were processed this summer, such as work no. 187 of Ólvega (“Networks and Paving”), with a budget of 420,000.00 euros; work no. 1 of Abejar (“Replacement of distribution networks”, Phase III), with 48,279.00 euros; work no. 28 of Almaluez (“Replacement of Networks and Paving in Chércoles and Puebla de Eca”), with 40,000 euros; and work no. 29 of Tera and Matute de la Sierra, with an estimated 70,000.00 euros.

The edict of Molinos de Duero does not detail the investment amount nor the percentage of provincial contribution for this Phase I, data which do not appear in the published text. The call for Provincial Plans for the following biennium, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria no. 100, dated August 28, 2026, does set the contribution of the Provincial Council of Soria at 30% for the network replacement line with paving.
