Miranda de Ebro publishes the provisional lists for three selection processes

The Miranda de Ebro City Council has approved the provisional lists of admitted and excluded candidates for three selection processes called to reinforce its municipal staff. The Mayoral decrees, signed on August 18 and 19, 2026, are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos number 164, dated August 31, 2026, within section III of Local Administration.

The three procedures are processed through the open competitive examination system (concurso-oposición) and affect dozens of applicants. Following the public display of these lists, a period of ten business days will open to file claims or rectify errors, after which the Presidency of the corporation will issue the resolution with the final list, the appointment of the tribunal, and the date, time, and place of the first exercise.

Cultural Technical Assistant

The call to fill a vacant permanent position for cultural technical assistant was published in the Official Gazette of the Province number 22, dated February 3, 2026, and in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León number 16, dated January 26, 2026. Applications were submitted between May 14 and June 11, 2026.

  • 13 admitted, including Beatriz Alonso Cuenca, Sara Barredo Peña, Aníbal Caño González, and Manuel Rubio Ortega.
  • 1 excluded: Ana Ortega Arnaiz, due to the missing front side of the ID (DNI).

Tourism Technician

The tourism technician position, also permanent, was called in the Official Gazette of the Province number 52, dated March 17, 2026, and in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León number 103, dated June 1, 2026, with an extract in the Official State Gazette number 125, dated May 22, 2026. The application period ran from May 26 to June 22, 2026.

  • 25 admitted, including María Elena Angulo Angulo, Naiara Arribas Caperos, Gema Cano Santos, Aitana García Ruiz, and Diego Regulez Bocos.
  • 2 excluded: Paula Estébanez Peña (missing proof of fee payment and ID) and Desirée García Salazar (missing proof of fee payment and ID).

Environmental Technician Job Bank

For the establishment of an employment bank for environmental technicians, the call was published in the Official Gazette of the Province number 111, dated June 16, 2026, and in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León number 103, dated June 1, 2026. Applications were submitted between June 17 and June 27, 2026.

  • 6 admitted, including Raquel Benlliure Merino, Ángel Bermejo Alonso, José Félix Corcuera Vadillo, and Rocío Escribano Viana.
  • 1 excluded: Eva María Martínez Herrero, for submitting the application after the deadline.

The lists are posted on the town hall notice board and on the municipal electronic office (https://sede.mirandadeebro.es), as well as in the provincial bulletin. The decrees bear the signatures of the mayor-president, Aitana Hernando Ruiz, and the secretary, José Javier Merino Alonso de Ozalla.

With these three processes, the Miranda council is moving forward with the permanent filling of technical positions and the creation of an employment pool that will streamline future municipal hiring. For applicants, the publication of the provisional lists now opens a window of ten business days to correct defects or file claims before the final lists are approved and the examination schedule is set.
