Miranda de Ebro announces the opening for the position of sociocultural animator via open competitive examination

The Miranda de Ebro City Council has approved the final list of admitted and excluded candidates to fill a permanent vacancy for a sociocultural animator through an open competitive examination, according to the Mayor’s decree of September 2, 2026. The call, which began with a provisional list approved on April 20, is now published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos number 174, dated September 14, 2026, with reference BOPBUR-2026-03791.

The process is framed within section III of Local Administration of the gazette and concludes the correction phase opened after the publication of the provisional list in number 86, dated May 8, 2026. Once the ten-business-day period for claims has ended and the documentation has been reviewed, the Mayor’s Office resolves to approve the final list and appoint the qualifying board.

Composition of the board

The decree also appoints the board responsible for grading the selection tests, consisting of a president, three members, and a secretary, each with a substitute:

• President: titular Lidia Andueza Azcona; substitute Amaya Díez Peral.
• Member 1: titular M.ª José Ruiz de Azúa; substitute Judit Yárritu García.
• Member 2: titular Álvaro González Pampliega; substitute Beatriz Abril Roselló.
• Member 3: titular Inmaculada Ranedo Gómez; substitute Fernando Rodríguez Revuelta.
• Secretary Member: titular María Veleda Sotillo; substitute Laura Martínez Iglesias.

The recusal of any of its members may be promoted at any time during the processing of the procedure.

Test calendar

The selection process begins with the competition on November 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the permanent room of the city hall, at Plaza de España number 8. The first exercise of the examination will be held on November 12, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the “Raimundo Porres” civic center, at Avenida República Argentina number 93 in Miranda de Ebro.

The decree is signed by the mayor-president, Aitana Hernando Ruiz, and the secretary, José Javier Merino Alonso de Ozalla. With this call, the Miranda council reinforces its sociocultural services staff, providing stability to a key position for the programming of activities aimed at the citizenry.
