MINVU modifica llamado a subsidios y selecciona 46 proyectos habitacionales

The Ministry of Housing and Urbanism modified the selection process under special conditions of the Housing Choice Solidarity Fund program and approved the list of projects qualified as of September 1, 2026, which covers 4,055 families. The decision was formalized through exempt resolution No. 1,502 (V. y U.), signed in Santiago on September 25, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette No. 44,566, this Monday, October 5, Section II, pages 1 to 7 (CVE 2879882).

The framework of the call

The resolution modifies exempt resolution No. 685 (V. y U.), dated May 5, 2026, which called for a competition under special conditions in the collective application alternative for construction projects on new land. The process is governed by DS No. 49 (V. y U.) of 2011 and its amendments, and by exempt resolution No. 43 (V. y U.) of January 13, 2026, which authorized the calls and committed resources for 2026.

The original call covered all communes of the 16 regions of the country, with four closing dates: May 28, September 1, October 8, and December 10, all of 2026. The now-approved list corresponds to the closing verified on September 1.

What changes in the process

Ruling 1 introduces two concrete adjustments:

  • It replaces the table of resources by region from ruling 2 of exempt resolution No. 685 (V. y U.), setting a total call amount of 14,746,396.4 UF.
  • It substitutes the figure “500,000” with “20,000” in the third paragraph of ruling 2.

The resources are distributed among the regions of Arica and Parinacota, Tarapacá, Antofagasta, Atacama, Coquimbo, Valparaíso, Libertador General Bernardo O’Higgins, Maule, Ñuble, Biobío, La Araucanía, Los Ríos, Los Lagos, Aysén del General Carlos Ibáñez del Campo, Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica, and Metropolitana.

The 46 selected projects

The approved list comprises 46 projects in eleven regions, with total financing of 8,272,580.0 UF. The largest are:

  • Doña Amalia, in San Clemente (Maule): 576 families and 1,084,877 UF.
  • Condominio Siete Horizontes I, in San Bernardo (Metropolitana): 487 families and 1,108,482 UF.
  • Condominio Siete Horizontes II, in San Bernardo: 423 families and 962,223 UF.
  • Valle Merced Melipilla, in Melipilla: 417 families and 752,766 UF.
  • Bicentenario Lircay IV, in Talca: 240 families and 442,061 UF.
  • Parque Bellavista V, in Curicó: 238 families and 415,869 UF.
  • Altos de Pangal, in San Javier: 200 families and 380,197 UF.

By region, Metropolitana concentrates 2,130 units and 4,545,023.5 UF, while Maule totals 1,394 units and 2,597,079.8 UF.

Financing and balances

The allocated amount incorporates technical assistance services, technical work inspection tasks, and fees for the Real Estate Registrar, for a total of 207,298.8 UF for 9,534 homes. Of that amount, 130,303.8 UF correspond to technical assistance, 68,889.0 UF to inspection, and 8,106.0 UF to fees.

With this selection, the call accumulates 7,235 units and 14,566,396.5 UF committed between the closures of May 28 and September 1, with a balance of 180,000 UF. The resolution bears the signature of Minister Iván Poduje Capdeville and was transcribed by Undersecretary Natalia Aguilar Bravo.
