Miguelturra opens the call for development cooperation with 72,000 euros

The Miguelturra City Council has opened the call for grants for development cooperation projects and awareness-raising activities for the year 2026, with a total budget of 72,000 euros. The call is approved by Decree 2026/1957, of September 17, 2026, and its summary is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real number 181, of September 21, 2026 (announcement number 2998, BDNS 930377). Applications for the international cooperation modality may be submitted within a period of 15 calendar days from the publication in the provincial gazette.

Regulatory framework and competent body

The publication of the summary is carried out in accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17. The full text of the call can be consulted in the National Grants Database, via the link associated with identification 930377.

The competent body is the Mayor’s Office-Presidency of the Miguelturra City Council, to which the applications must be addressed. Funding will be charged to the available credit of the budgetary application 2316.490 International Cooperation Aid, from the expenditure status of the 2026 municipal budget. Two modalities and budget distribution

The call distinguishes two lines of aid, with the following distribution of the 72,000 euros:

• 90% of the total is allocated to projects under modality A, for international development cooperation.
• The remaining 10% is reserved for modality B, for education for development and awareness-raising.

Regarding the limits per project:

• Modality A (international development cooperation projects in countries receiving official development assistance): the subsidized amount shall not exceed 85% of the total project amount and will have a limit of up to 12,000 euros per project.
• Modality B (education for development and awareness-raising activities in the municipality of Miguelturra): the aid shall not exceed 85% of the total amount and will have a limit of up to 2,100 euros per project, unless otherwise agreed by the Mayor’s Office-Presidency, following a proposal from the Local Cooperation Council of Miguelturra.

Beneficiaries and requirements

Non-governmental development organizations, as well as associations, entities, and organizations with legal personality and non-profit status that meet the following requirements, may apply for the aid:

• Be legally constituted and registered in the Local Registry of Associations of Miguelturra.
• Be listed in the Registry of Entities and Social Service Centers of the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha with a minimum seniority of one year prior to the deadline for project submission.
• Not be subject to any of the prohibition cases indicated in articles 13.2 and 13.3 of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17.

In modality B, activities must be proposed by entities that are part of the Local Cooperation Council of Miguelturra, or be joint activities of different entities proposed by the Council itself.

Deadlines and submission of applications

Deadlines differ according to the modality:

• Modality A: 15 calendar days from the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real.
• Modality B: open deadline throughout the year, with mandatory submission at least 30 days before the date of the event.

Each association or group may send its application, signed by the person holding the Presidency of the association and addressed to the Mayor’s Office-Presidency, via electronic means.

The call reaches NGOs and the associative fabric of Miguelturra with an amount that consolidates the municipal commitment to international cooperation and awareness within the municipality itself. The allocation of 90% of the budget toward field projects and 10% toward local activities marks the spending priorities for this fiscal year, while the 15-calendar-day deadline forces entities to prepare their documentation in advance if they wish to apply for the main line of aid.
