The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (MIDAGRI) approved the granting of subsidies totaling S/ 1,276,228.50 in favor of ten Women’s Agrarian Organizations (OAM), intended to finance their rural and indigenous entrepreneurship plans. The decision was adopted through Ministerial Resolution No. D000365-2026-MIDAGRI-DM, signed in Jesús María on September 10, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette El Peruano on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in the Legal Norms section.
The regulation was signed by Minister Marco Antonio Vinelli Ruiz and is part of the Strategy “Rural and Indigenous Women’s Entrepreneurship for the Year 2026” (EEMRI 2026), approved by Ministerial Resolution No. 0015-2026-MIDAGRI. Its implementation corresponds to the Competitiveness Compensation Program (AGROIDEAS), which will sign the subsidy agreements with each beneficiary organization.
Financing and scope
The resources come from the Forty-Fifth Final Complementary Provision of Law No. 32513, Public Sector Budget Law for Fiscal Year 2026, which authorizes MIDAGRI to grant subsidies of up to S/ 10,000,000.00 through EEMRI 2026. In this first installment, the state subsidy amounts to S/ 1,276,228.50, complemented by a counterpart contribution from the organizations of S/ 141,803.17, totaling a total financing of S/ 1,418,031.67.
The measure seeks not only to co-finance the Rural and Indigenous Women’s Entrepreneurship Plans (PEMRI), but also to strengthen the economic autonomy and the productive and organizational capacities of rural and indigenous women, contributing to closing gaps in access to resources and opportunities.
