Miajadas opens the passenger transport concession for public consultation

The Miajadas City Council has agreed to submit for public review the feasibility study regarding the concession of the public collective passenger transport service in the town of Cáceres. The decision, adopted by Mayoral Resolution dated 08/25/2026, was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres number 164, of August 27, 2026, in Section I of Local Administration.

The study, drafted by the Municipal Technical Services, may be examined by any interested party for a period of one month starting from the day following the publication of the announcement. The process is opened in accordance with article 247.3 of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts, a regulation that transposes Directives 2014/23/EU and 2014/24/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council into the Spanish legal system.

One month to submit allegations

During the public exhibition period, any interested person may consult the document at the municipal offices and submit any allegations they deem appropriate. The file will also be available on the City Council’s electronic office at the address https://miajadas.eadministracion.es/home.

The announcement will also serve as notification to interested parties in the event that personal notification of the granting of the hearing process cannot be carried out, thus guaranteeing the right of participation of those affected in the procedure.
