Mesegar de Corneja auctions 220 standing poplars for 6,198 euros

The City Council of Mesegar de Corneja has approved the disposal via public ascending auction of the municipal timber harvest of 220 standing poplars, with a minimum bid price of 6,198.13 euros, plus VAT if legally applicable. The operation was agreed upon by Mayoral Resolution dated September 9, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ávila on September 21, 2026, under number 1853/26. Interested parties have 15 calendar days, counting from the day following the publication of the announcement, to submit their offers.

A harvest of 70.88 cubic meters in polygon 4

The object of the auction is the standing timber of 220 specimens of Populus × canadensis, with an estimated volume of 70.88 m³ VCC. The mass is located in polygon 4, plot 5035 of the municipality of Mesegar de Corneja, in the province of Ávila.

The award criterion is the highest price offered. The announcement warns that bids lower than the minimum price will be rejected, meaning the bidding must start from the 6,198.13 euros set by the City Council.

The file is processed through the public ascending auction procedure, the standard formula for the disposal of municipal forest harvests, and the announcement is signed by the Mayor-President, Herminia Ruiz Amat.

Sealed envelope and fifteen calendar days to bid

Offers must be submitted exclusively in a sealed envelope, through one of these two channels:

In the second case, the bidder must announce the dispatch within the submission period via email to mesegar@diputacionavila.es, indicating the bidder, date and time of posting, Post Office, and shipment number. This email will serve only as a notice and shall not contain the offer.
