Por FactBox Admin

The Autonomous City of Melilla has published the provisional list of complementary grants for the Erasmus Program corresponding to the 2025/2026 academic year, with 67 applications admitted and 11 denied. The proposal, signed on October 16, 2026, by the instructor Pilar Cabo León, appears in the Official Gazette of the City of Melilla (BOME) number 6424, dated October 20, 2026, with the official reference BOME-A-2026-1179. Applicants have ten days to submit appeals.
The grants are governed by the regulatory bases approved by agreement of the Governing Council on March 14, 2023, published in the Extraordinary BOME number 13, dated March 15, 2023. The call for the 2025/2026 course was approved by Order No. 3797, dated August 13, 2026, registered under number 2026003797 and published in BOME number 6408, dated August 25, 2026.
The call has a maximum credit of 60,000 euros charged to the budget application 03/32603/48000 (Erasmus and Sicue Scholarships), according to credit retention number 12026000034482, dated July 17, 2026. The amount per student is 100 euros per month, up to a maximum of 900 euros, depending on the months of stay accredited at the destination university.
67 grants between 400 and 900 euros
The list of grants, which identifies each applicant by their document number and file number —from 1/2026/ERASMUS to 80/2026/ERASMUS—, is distributed as follows:
- 56 grants of 900 euros, the maximum amount provided in the bases.
- 5 grants of 600 euros.
- 4 grants of 500 euros.
- 1 grant of 700 euros.
- 1 grant of 400 euros, the lowest amount on the list.
The instructing body is the Technical Secretariat of the Presidency, Public Administration and Equality, dependent on the Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administration and Equality. On October 15, 2026, the instructor reported on the fulfillment of requirements and the collegiate body issued its evaluation report in accordance with sections 6, 7, and 12 of the regulatory bases.
Eleven denials and their reasons
The provisional resolution details the 11 excluded applications and the specific reason for each, coded into four scenarios:
- Reason 1, failure to prove registration (empadronamiento) in Melilla with at least one year of continuous seniority since the publication of the call: 3 applications.
- Reason 3, failure to provide supporting documentation of the final award of an Erasmus scholarship: 7 applications.
- Reason 4, submission after the deadline: 1 application.
- Reason 2, not being up to date with the Autonomous City of Melilla: provided for in the bases, with no applications affected in this list.
Ten days to appeal before the final resolution
Notification is carried out via publication in the BOME, in accordance with articles 40 and 42 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The deadline to submit allegations is ten days from the date of publication, that is, from this October 20.
If no allegations are submitted within that period, the provisional resolution proposal will become final, according to section 12 of the regulatory bases. The entire list has been evaluated by the collegiate body in accordance with the valuation criteria established in the call.
The publication of this list closes the instruction phase of a call that complements the funding of the Erasmus Program to cover accommodation, maintenance, books, materials, and transport for university students from Melilla. The 67 provisional beneficiaries will receive between 400 and 900 euros, with an amount depending on the months of stay actually completed at the destination university.
