Melilla awards booths, attractions, and stalls for the 2026 Fair

The Ministry of Culture, Cultural Heritage, and the Elderly of the Autonomous City of Melilla has resolved the granting of booths, fair attractions, and street vending stalls for the 2026 Melilla Fair, through Resolution No. 0866, dated August 26, 2026. One day later, Resolution No. 0875, dated August 27, rectified a material error by incorporating eight attractions that had been omitted. Both resolutions are published in the Official Gazette of the Autonomous City of Melilla (BOME) number 6409, dated August 28, 2026.

The grant is awarded to all applicants who, complying with the regulations published in BOME No. 6393, submitted their application in a timely and proper manner. The documents are signed by the Acting Technical Secretary of Culture, Heritage, and the Elderly, Victoriano Juan Santamaría Martínez.

Booth Awardees

Fifteen booths, including traditional and cocktail booths, are granted to entities and collectives of the city:

• Casa de Ceuta (traditional)

• Partido Popular (traditional)

Fair Attractions

The initial resolution awards twenty-seven attractions to fairground operators such as Ángel Martínez Fernández (Monster Extreme, Super Gusano, La Nube, and Barco Pirata), Juaquín Martín Calatayud (Zigzag, Látigo, and Experience), Alfredo Calatayud Serrano (bumper cars, Punchi-Ball), or Enrique Cortés Parra (Jumping Super Mario and Skill Games), among others.

Resolution No. 0875 incorporates eight omitted attractions into the list:

• Baby Infantil — Manuel Mejías Antón
• Extazy — Mª del Carmen Barrios Gabarri
• Cotton Candy and The Witch’s Train — David Abellán Ortiz
• Inflatables in General — Mohamme Aberkan El Marsi and Judith Roldán Stankovich
• Pista Americana and Penalty — Bárbara Pérez Álvarez

Street Vending Stalls

The list also includes nearly fifty street vending stalls, awarded to holders such as María Mercedes Cruz Santana, Hassan Benhaddou Belkhir, Diego Torres Torres, Cristina Manrique Benaisa, Francisco Javier Sánchez Blanco (with three stalls), María GuamanGate (two stalls), or César Pérez Agut (two stalls), among others.

Relevance

The publication of these lists provides legal certainty to dozens of fairground operators and entities regarding the installation of the 2026 Melilla Fair, and the subsequent rectification ensures that no admitted applicant is excluded due to a clerical error. An administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) may be filed against both resolutions within one month before the Most Excellent President of the Autonomous City of Melilla.
