Mazarrón opens the Partial Plan for the Expansion of Playa Grande for public review

The Mazarrón City Council has opened a new public information process for the “Ampliación Playa Grande” Partial Plan, S-03/14, and the Action Program of the Single Action Unit of said plan, both belonging to the General Municipal Urban Development Plan (PGMOU) of Mazarrón. This was agreed upon by the municipal Governing Board in the session of September 3, 2026, and the announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia number 210, dated September 11, 2026, page 20862.

The deadline for submitting allegations is one month from the publication of the announcement in the official gazette, and allegations must be submitted in writing. The complete documentation of the plan and its action program can be consulted on the municipal website of the Mazarrón City Council.

An urban development of interest for the coastal municipality

The “Ampliación Playa Grande” Partial Plan is an urban planning instrument that develops the land surrounding the beach of Mazarrón, an area of great interest for residents and developers in the municipality. The file is being processed at the request of the company José Hernández Navarro y Otros, C.B., and the documents have been drafted by the architect Daniel Mancheño Hernández.

The process is part of the approval procedure for a partial plan and its action program, which defines the detailed planning of the area and the conditions for its urban execution.
