The Local Government Board of the Marina de Cudeyo City Council has approved the granting of subsidies for the 2026 financial year to 24 non-profit cultural and sports clubs and associations in the municipality. The agreement, adopted in an ordinary session held on 4 August 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of Cantabria (BOC) number 156, of 14 August 2026, with reference CVE-2026-6465 and file 2026/487. The largest allocation, €49,000, corresponds to S.D.R. Pedreña for rowing, including the regatta.
The aid falls within the framework of the call for cultural and sports purposes carried out by non-profit clubs and associations for the 2026 financial year, published in BOC number 79, of 27 April 2026. The agreement, signed by the mayor, Pedro Pérez Ferradas, on 6 August 2026, is disseminated in extract form in accordance with Article 18 of Law 38/2003, of 17 November, General Subsidies Law, and Article 17 of Law 10/2006, of 17 June, on Subsidies of Cantabria; its full content is displayed on the electronic notice board of the Corporation and in the National Subsidies Database (BNDS).
Rowing concentrates the largest amounts
The fourteen beneficiary sports entities receive the bulk of the allocation. Rowing leads the distribution, with S.D.R. Pedreña at the top and two clubs with €13,000 each.
- S.D.R. Pedreña (rowing, including regatta): €49,000
- C.R. San Pantaleón and CR Trasmiera (rowing): €13,000 each
- Asociación Deportiva Club de Fútbol Marina de Cudeyo, C.D. Pontejos and Club Deportivo Elemental Fútbol Base Marina Cudeyo: €8,000 each

Culture and education complete the distribution
Nine cultural groups and a parents’ association close the list of beneficiaries, with grants of between €1,000 and €4,000.

- Colectivo Avante: €3,000
- Asociación Cultural Trastolillo Teatro and Asociación de Teatro Ni Una Menos: €1,500 each

- AMPA C.E.I.P. Rubayo (education): €1,000
Two entities must prove they are up to date before collecting
The agreement conditions the payment of aid: it will not be made effective until P.B. Gajano and the Asociación Deportiva Club de Fútbol Marina de Cudeyo provide certificates of being up to date with the Social Security and Treasury. The resolution will be notified to the beneficiary associations and clubs, as well as to the Municipal Intervention.
The resolution consolidates municipal support for the associative fabric of Marina de Cudeyo, with special emphasis on rowing, a discipline with a strong tradition in the bay and in which Pedreña maintains its historic sporting commitment. For the residents and entities of the municipality, the call is configured as a stable means of financing cultural, sporting and educational activities during 2026.
