The Marbella City Council has approved two new municipal public employment calls that open the door to 15 job positions in the local administration. The decision is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Málaga on August 26, 2026, within the City Councils section, through edicts 3342/2026 and 3344/2026.

The two calls respond to the need to reinforce the municipal workforce with civil servant personnel in administrative and technical areas, and represent a direct opportunity for candidates preparing for access to the local administration of the Costa del Sol.

Two calls, fifteen positions

The first of the resolutions, contained in Edict 3342/2026, approves the call to fill 14 Administrative positions. This is the broader of the two offers, aimed at providing administrative management positions across the various services of the council.

The second, contained in Edict 3344/2026, calls for 1 Cultural Services Programmer Technician position, a specialized profile destined for the management and programming of the municipality’s cultural activity.

Profiles and destination

The called positions are distributed into two distinct profiles:

  • 14 Administrative positions, of a generalist nature, for management and administrative processing tasks.
  • 1 Cultural Services Programmer Technician position, of a technical profile, linked to the programming of municipal cultural services.

Both calls are part of the public employment policy of the Marbella City Council, which utilizes the provincial gazette to provide official publicity for its selection processes.

Framework and official publicity

Publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Málaga grants the calls the status of a public administrative act, guaranteeing the transparency of the process and the right of interested parties to know the rules. The gazette, in its issue corresponding to August 26, 2026, includes both announcements in the City Councils section, alongside other municipal resolutions from the province.

Interested parties should stay attentive to the full rules of each call, which will be published according to the established procedure, to learn about the requirements, the selection system, and the deadlines for submitting applications.

Relevance for candidates

The call for these 15 positions consolidates Marbella as one of the municipalities in Málaga with an active offer of public employment, in a context where Administrative positions and technical cultural profiles are among the most sought after by aspiring civil servants. For candidates in the province, these two resolutions represent a concrete path to access the local public service, with a significant volume of positions in the case of the administrative category.
