Marazoleja puts 2,304 poplars up for auction with a starting price of 200,000 euros

The Marazoleja City Council has called for the auction for the disposal of 2,304 poplar plants, with an estimated 2,500 m³ of wood, a municipal-owned forestry resource being put up for tender with a starting bid of 200,000 euros upwards, excluding VAT. The call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Segovia, number 144, dated December 1, 2025, with the reference RE-18196.

The tender stems from the agreement adopted by the Plenary of the Corporation in the session of September 30, 2025, which approved the disposal via an open procedure, based on the most economically advantageous offer. The specifications, also approved by the Plenary, are available for public inspection for a period of 8 calendar days together with the tender for the purpose of possible claims; should any occur, the award will be postponed until their resolution.

Object and Economic Conditions

The object of the contract is the disposal of the 2,304 poplar plants with an estimated 2,500 m³ of wood, owned by the City Council. The economic and guarantee conditions are established in the announcement:

  • Tender price: 200,000 euros, upwards (excluding VAT).
  • Final guarantee: 5% of the award price.
  • Procedure: open, with the award going to the most economically advantageous offer.
