Mairena del Aljarafe opens 18,000 euro grants for women's associations

The Mairena del Aljarafe City Council has opened the 2026 call for grants under a competitive process intended for associations and non-profit entities for women in the municipality, with a budget of 18,000 euros. The guidelines were approved by agreement of the Local Government Board on September 14, 2026, and the summary is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville number 187, dated September 25, 2026, with the official reference BOP-SE-2026-187016.

The call is processed under articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17, and is registered in the National Grants Database with the identifier 931137, where the full text can be consulted. The procedure is governed by its own guidelines and, supplementarily, by the General Grants Ordinance of the Mairena del Aljarafe City Council, published in the Official Gazette of the province number 26, dated February 2, 2021.

The promoting body is the Area of Promotion and Commitment to Youth and Equality, which allocates the expenditure to the budgetary application 007-23113-48000. The stated objective is to finance activities and projects of social interest carried out by the associative network of women in the municipality.

Requirements to apply

• Beneficiaries may be non-profit entities legally constituted and registered, as of the date of the call, in the Register of Non-Profit Entities of the Mairena del Aljarafe City Council.
• A minimum seniority of two years in said register is required.
• They may not enjoy other nominative grants from the Mairena del Aljarafe City Council or its autonomous bodies listed in the municipal budget, nor aid granted for the same purpose by any of those entities in the same budgetary year.
• Entities falling under any of the circumstances of article 13 of the General Grants Law are excluded.

Two lines of aid and amounts

The call establishes two distinct lines:

• Line 1: financing of expenses derived from the development of activities carried out in the municipality during the year 2026.
• Line 2: investments in equipment for headquarters, office furniture, asset updates, and electronic equipment, such as computer equipment, printers, projectors, microphones, or sound systems, as well as the acquisition of related inventoriable items.

The grant will cover 100% of the final cost of the activity according to the submitted budget, with a maximum of 3,000 euros for projects or activities in Line 1 and 3,000 euros for equipment investments in Line 2. The total amount allocated to the overall call is 18,000 euros.

Deadline and submission of applications

Applications shall be submitted through the municipal electronic office, attaching each of the annexes and the required documentation. The deadline is 30 calendar days starting from the day following the publication of the call’s summary in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville, which took place on September 25, 2026.

The agreement appears signed in Mairena del Aljarafe on September 23, 2026, by the councilwoman-delegate of the Area of Promotion and Commitment to Youth and Equality, Laura María Pérez Prieto.

The call continues the municipal support for the women’s associative movement and arrives with a regulated procedure subject to public notice, so that interested entities have one month to prepare their project and budget. For the local associative fabric, the equipment line also allows for the reinforcement of headquarters and technical means, while the activities line supports the annual programming of social interest in the municipality.
