Madrid Salud distributes 199,130 euros in grants against addictions

The Madrid Salud Autonomous Body has granted subsidies totaling 199,130 euros to 37 non-profit entities for the maintenance of projects dedicated to the comprehensive care of addictions. The resolution, adopted on August 25, 2026, by the manager of Madrid Salud, is published in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid (BOCM) number 209, dated September 2, 2026, within section III of Local Administration.

The grant is part of the Madrid Salud Call for Subsidies for the support of the maintenance of comprehensive addiction care projects carried out by non-profit entities in the 2026 fiscal year. The decision was adopted following a meeting of the Evaluation Commission for the applications, held on June 17, 2026, and after the final resolution proposal made by the deputy general director of Addictions on August 7, 2026.

Distribution by score

The amounts are assigned based on the total score obtained by each project in the evaluation. The seven highest-scoring entities receive 10,000 euros each, while the rest receive amounts ranging between 5,000 and 3,000 euros.

• Asociación Atiempo (€10,000): support center for the treatment of people with addictive problems, dual pathology, and family members.
• Asociación La Torre de Hortaleza (€10,000): project “Tejiendo redes I: paso a paso” (Weaving networks I: step by step).
• Asociación Lakoma Madrid (€10,000): self-management resource for populations with addiction issues.
• Asociación Alacrán 1997 (€10,000): project “Convivimos, aprendemos y jugamos adolescencia” (We coexist, learn and play adolescence).
• Asociación Caminar (€10,000): leisure for adolescents.
• Asociación Cultural La Kalle (€10,000): coexistence and participation schools “El Lokal”.
• Fundación Benéfica San Martín de Porres (€10,000): project “Chueco”.

Prevention and treatment projects

The funded projects cover a wide spectrum of the prevention and treatment network, from intervention with adolescents and young people in situations of vulnerability to care for people with dual pathology, online gambling, and chemsex.

• Apoyo Positivo (€5,000): intervention in chemsex.
• Asociación Contralo Club (€4,992): prevention of problematic use of online gambling, video games, and social networks in adolescents.
• Asociación Ciudad Joven (€5,000): healthy leisure for the prevention of addictions at the Entrevías day center.
• Asociación Garaje (€5,000): urban music as a protective factor against addictions.
• Asociación Primera Prevención (€4,800): prevention and social inclusion with adolescents and young people in situations of vulnerability.
• Asociación Proyecto Hogar (€4,000): psychoeducational intervention with young people in situations of vulnerability.

Substitute entities and funding

In addition to the beneficiary entities, the resolution lists four substitute entities, including the Asociación Pro-Recuperación de Marginados (APROMAR), the Asociación Soulíng, the Federación de Plataformas Sociales Pinardi, and the Asociación para el Desarrollo del Plan Comunitario Carabanchel Alto.

The amounts will be charged to the budget application 508/120/311.02/489.01 “Other transfers to non-profit institutions” of the “Addictions” Program of the 2026 budget of Madrid Salud. Against the resolution, which exhausts administrative remedies, an optional appeal for reversal may be filed within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Madrid within two months.

The resolution, signed by the Deputy Director General of Economic-Administrative Management, Rafael Ruiz Badiola, acting on behalf of the manager, strengthens the municipal network for the prevention and treatment of addictions, with a direct impact on care programs for vulnerable groups in the city of Madrid.
