Por FactBox Admin

The General Directorate of Civil Service, under the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, has approved, by resolution of 5 August 2026, the final lists of candidates admitted and excluded in the selection tests for entry into the Corps of General Administration Assistants, Group C, Subgroup C2, of the Community of Madrid. The text, published in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid number 192, of 13 August 2026 (pages 28 to 51), also calls for the holding of the first and second exercises of the open competition and the first exercise of internal promotion.
The call for these tests dates back to Order 264/2026, of 4 February, published in the BOCM number 41, of 18 February, which opened the process under the general system of open access and internal promotion. Subsequently, the Resolution of 22 May 2026 (BOCM number 131, of 4 June) approved the provisional lists of admitted and excluded candidates, as well as the list of applicants who requested adaptation. The development and grading of the exercises corresponds to the Delegated Committee of the Standing Selection Committee, created by Resolution of 10 December 2025 (BOCM number 304, of 22 December), with errata correction of 3 February 2026 (BOCM number 42, of 19 February), and the process is governed by the general bases of Order 290/2018, of 27 June.
Dates and venues of the exercises
All exercises will be held on 18 October 2026, with a single call for admitted candidates; those who do not appear will be excluded unless there is a justified cause or force majeure assessed by the selection body.
- Open competition: first exercise at 9:00 a.m. and second exercise at 12:00 p.m.
- Internal promotion: first exercise at 4:00 p.m.
The open competition tests will take place in eight faculties of the Complutense University of Madrid: Information Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, Law, Philology, Political Science and Sociology, Economics and Business, and Psychology; those for internal promotion, at the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology (Somosaguas Campus, Pozuelo de Alarcón).
Access requirements and examination rules
Entry will not be allowed for those who do not appear in the final lists of admitted candidates, which can be consulted in the procedure search engine of the electronic General Access Point of the Community of Madrid and on the websites enabled for the open competition and for internal promotion. Admitted candidates must:
- Present the original DNI (in physical or digital format, “full DNI” version), driver’s license, or passport.
- Attend with a blue or black pen.
- Refrain from using any electronic device during the test; therefore, the identification document must be kept in physical format on the table.
The list of applicants who requested adaptation will be made public through the same channels, indicating whether it was granted or denied; if denied, they will be notified individually. The final lists of excluded candidates are published as Annex I (free turn) and Annex II (internal promotion), with the reasons for exclusion set out in the resolution, including failure to properly formalize the application, failure to sign the responsible declaration, or failure to prove the required qualification.
Appeal and value of the process
The resolution, which does not exhaust administrative remedies, may be appealed by filing an administrative appeal before the Deputy Ministry of Finance and Civil Service within one month of its publication. The resolution is signed by the Director General of Civil Service, María José Esteban Raposo.
The publication closes the administrative phase of screening candidatures and sets the calendar for a process affecting thousands of applicants seeking positions as civil servants in the Administration and Services of the Community of Madrid. With the examination scheduled for October 18, C2 candidates have just over two months to finalize their preparation, in one of the most popular routes of access to regional public employment.
