Ólvega announces six vacancies for second-class officer and publishes the provisional list

The Ólvega City Council has approved the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the call for the hiring, under the labor personnel regime, of six vacant 2nd Class Officer positions in the municipal workforce. The resolution from the Mayor’s Office is dated September 25, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria number 114, corresponding to Wednesday, September 30, 2026, on pages 3351 and 3352, with the official reference BOPSO-114-30092026. The announcement opens the period for excluded applicants to correct the defects that led to their non-admission.

Seventeen admitted and four excluded

The provisional list of admitted applicants consists of seventeen people, who will take part in the selection tests if no modifications occur after the correction process:

In the excluded section, four applicants are listed, all for the same reason: failure to provide a photocopy of the qualification required in the call’s terms.

Ten business days to correct

The announcement is made public in accordance with the provisions of the selection process call’s terms, so that, within a period of ten business days, excluded applicants may correct the deficiencies or provide the mandatory documents that led to their non-admission. Once this period has elapsed without the defects being corrected, the exclusion will become final and the affected parties will be removed from the process.

The same resolution from the Mayor’s Office has approved the composition of the tribunal that will judge the tests, with the following members and substitutes:

• Member: Gregorio Ibáñez Álvarez; substitute, Diego García Campano.

Consultation at the electronic office

All information regarding the process will be available to interested parties on the electronic office of the Ólvega City Council (olvega.sedelectronica.es). The document is signed in Ólvega, on September 25, 2026, by the mayor, Elia Jiménez Hernández.

The call for six job positions for 2nd Class Officer reinforces the municipal staff of Ólvega and opens an opportunity for stable employment in the town. For the seventeen admitted candidates, the next milestone will be the holding of the tests before the designated tribunal; for the four excluded candidates, the correction period is the final way to avoid being left out of the process. The final result will depend on the resolution that ends the provisional phase and the subsequent actions of the selection body.
