Environmental green light for the Eider solar plant in Azanuy-Alins

The Aragonese Institute of Environmental Management (INAGA) has formulated the environmental impact statement for the “Eider Solar” photovoltaic plant project, with 49.984 MW, in the municipality of Azanuy-Alins (Huesca). The resolution is dated November 12, 2025, and is now published in the Official Gazette of Aragon of September 21, 2026, number 183, with the reference BOA20260921021. The file processed by the regional body carries the number INA GA 500306/01L/2024/10453.

The announcement is signed by the Department of Environment and Tourism of the Government of Aragon and publicizes the INAGA resolution formulating the environmental impact statement. The publication is ordered in accordance with article 33.4 of Law 11/2014, of December 4, on Environmental Prevention and Protection of Aragon, which requires this type of resolution to be publicized in the regional official gazette.

The project promoter is the company Eider Solar, SL, and the only affected municipality is Azanuy-Alins, in the province of Huesca. A project integrated into a shared evacuation network

The Eider Solar plant does not evacuate its energy in isolation. According to the documentation published in the Official Gazette of Aragon of September 3, 2026, number 171, the Regadera 220/66/30 kV substation and the associated evacuation lines channel the energy coming from the “Regadera Solar”, “Pasadizo Solar”, “Busardo Solar”, and “Eider Solar” photovoltaic parks. These shared infrastructures are already authorized under another file.

The publication confirms that the project has passed the environmental process and is moving toward its final authorization, a relevant step for the Aragonese renewable sector and for the territory of the region, where several photovoltaic parks coexist and share evacuation infrastructures.
