Ambient light for the new physicochemical treatment at the La Cartuja WWTP

The Aragonese Institute of Environmental Management (INAGA) has issued the environmental impact report for the construction project of the new physicochemical treatment at the La Cartuja WWTP, in the municipality of Zaragoza, and has decided not to subject it to the ordinary environmental impact assessment procedure. The resolution, dated July 7, 2026, was made known through an announcement published in the Official Gazette of Aragon number 172, dated September 4, 2026, with reference BOA20260904012.
The project, requested by Pirinea Desarrollo Rural, SL and promoted by Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies SASU, is being processed under file number 500201/01/2025/12748. The publication is ordered in accordance with Article 37.4 of Law 11/2014, of December 4, on Environmental Prevention and Protection of Aragon, and the announcement corresponds to the Department of Environment and Tourism, within section V of Announcements.
