Lucena publishes admitted candidates for three Street Lighting Officer positions

The Lucena City Council has approved the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the selection process convened for the provision, as permanent labor staff, of three positions for Official (Lighting and Maintenance). The resolution, adopted by the Mayor’s Office on August 12, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 164, dated August 25, 2026, with the reference BOP-A-2026-2882.

The process is handled through a competitive examination system (concurso-oposición) and its rules were published in full in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 56, dated March 20, 2026, with extracts of the call in the Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía (number 80, dated April 28, 2026) and in the Official State Gazette (number 134, dated June 2, 2026). The provisional list is approved by the Mayor’s Office resolution no. 2026/00007891, dated August 12, 2026, and is also published on the municipal electronic office, in the “Selection Processes” and “Notice Board” sections.

Provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants

The annex of the resolution includes a total of 92 admitted applicants and 13 excluded. Among those admitted are, among others, Rubén Alcalde Requerey, Cristóbal Alonso Fernández, Pedro José Álvarez Sánchez, Jesús Arcos Álvarez, Francisco Javier Barba Bujalance, Manuel Jesús Cabeza López, Juan Carlos Castro Valverde, Agustín Dorado Esquinas, Miguel Ángel Fuillerat Bueno, Jesús Gómez Góngora, Rafael Hidalgo Jiménez, Pedro Luna Pino, Juan Molina Jiménez, Inés Ortega Romero, Jesús Pavón Ruiz, Moisés Reyes Ruiz, Jorge Rodríguez Navajas, Manuel Ropero Reyes, and Antonio Varo Bonilla.

Regarding the excluded applicants, the causes for exclusion are as follows:

• Miguel Ángel Burguillos Aguilera and Juan José Lara Sánchez: the documentation provided does not prove their registration as job seekers during the two months prior to the call (04/02/2026 to 06/01/2026).
• Rafael Delgado Carvajal, Manuel Espejo Rodríguez, Sergio Gómez Peláez, Samir Hocinat Ould Ahmed, Javier Muñoz Mesa, Marta Olivares Cantero, José María Pineda Navajas, José Antonio Reyes Corral, José Antonio Rodríguez Franco, and Francisco Javier Roldán Urbano: payment of the corresponding fee has not been verified.
• María Araceli Molina Lérida: did not provide the registration and rejection report proving her status as a job seeker.

Correction period and procedure

Interested parties shall have a period of ten business days, counting from the day following the insertion of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba, to remedy the defects that may have led to their exclusion or omission from the provisional list, as well as errors in their personal data. Supporting documentation must be submitted through the electronic or physical entry registry of the City Council, or at any of the registries and offices provided for in sections 4 and 5 of article 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

For those who must regularize the payment of the examination fee, the municipal account IBAN ES33 2095 4408 5091 5062 5911 is enabled, indicating the concept “Convocatoria 3 Plazas Oficial Alumbrado Mantenimiento – Subsanación - DNI del aspirante”. Once the payment has been made, it must be documented by presenting the proof of the operation in the form and within the period provided.

Signature and delegation

The announcement is signed in Lucena on August 12, 2026, by the Acting Mayor, María de la O Redondo Calvillo, by virtue of the delegation conferred by the Mayoral resolution no. 2026/7734, of August 4, 2026, in favor of the first deputy mayor.

The publication of this provisional list represents a key step in filling three permanent labor staff positions destined for the lighting and maintenance service of the municipality. Once the corrections are resolved and the list is made final, the admitted candidates will be summoned to the competitive examination tests, a process that will allow for the consolidation of stable public employment in the municipal services of Lucena.
