Los Galayos definitively approves its balanced 2026 budget

The Los Galayos Association of Municipalities has definitively approved its General Budget for the 2026 fiscal year, a balanced document amounting to 79,100 euros in both income and expenditure. The agreement, adopted after no objections were submitted within the deadline, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ávila number 172, dated September 7, 2026, under announcement number 1766/26.
The budget was initially approved in a session held on July 13, 2026, and its announcement was published in BOP number 144, dated July 29, 2026. As no claims were filed during the public exhibition period, the document has been elevated to definitive status in accordance with the provisions of articles 112.3 of Law 7/85, of April 2, 150.3 of Law 39/88, of December 28, and 127 of the Revised Text of the Local Regime of April 18, 1986.
A budget funded by current transfers
The income chapter is supported almost entirely by current transfers, which provide 79,000 euros of the total, while fees, public prices, and other income sum to only 100 euros. Capital transfers record no allocation for the fiscal year.

Appeal period
According to the provisions of article 152.1 of the aforementioned Law 39/88, those who consider themselves affected may directly file a contentious-administrative appeal against the budget within a period of two months, counting from the day following the publication of this announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ávila. The document appears signed in Guisando on August 31, 2026, by the president of the association, Rafael García García.
The definitive approval of the accounts guarantees the continuity of the joint services that Los Galayos provides to the integrated municipalities, ensuring the financing of its basic actions for the 2026 fiscal year with a healthy budget and without recourse to capital operations.
