Los Corrales appoints an administrative assistant following an open competitive examination

The City Council of Los Corrales (Seville) has appointed Ms. Antonia María Casado Montero as a career civil servant in the position of administrative assistant, after passing the selection process via the open competitive examination system. The appointment is formalized through Mayoral Resolution No. 465, dated September 3, 2026, signed by the Mayor and President Buensuceso Morillo Espada, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville number 176, dated Thursday, September 10, 2026 (official reference: BOP-SE-2026-176008).

The resolution is issued in accordance with Article 21.1.h) of Law 7/1985, of April 2, on the Bases of Local Government; Article 136 of the revised text of the legal provisions in force regarding Local Government, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 781/1986, of April 18; and Article 7 of Royal Decree 896/1991, of June 7, which establishes the basic rules and minimum programs for the selection procedure of Local Administration civil servants.

Assumption of Office and Effects

The resolution approves and arranges the corresponding remuneration for the appointee as career civil service personnel. The interested party must take office within 30 calendar days, counting from the day following the publication of the appointment resolution in the Official Gazette of the Province.

Likewise, she will be informed about the processing of her personal data and the confidentiality commitment derived from the relationship established with the City Council. The agreement will be notified to the interested party and forwarded to the Human Resources Area of the council for its knowledge and appropriate effects.

Publicity and Appeals

The appointment is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville, on the City Council’s Electronic Office, on the municipal transparency portal, and on the notice board, for wider dissemination. Against the resolution, which exhausts administrative remedies, the following may be filed alternatively:

• Optional Appeal for Reversal (Recurso de Reposición) before the Acting Mayor, within one month from the day following the notification, in accordance with articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1.
• Contentious-Administrative Appeal before the corresponding Contentious-Administrative Court, within two months, in accordance with article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13.

The filling of this position consolidates the civil service staff of the City Council of Los Corrales, a municipality in the Sierra Sur of Seville, and strengthens the administrative capacity of the council through an open competitive selection process, guaranteeing equal opportunities in local public employment.
