Lorcha opens the concession for the sports center bar to public bidding

The Lorcha City Council (l’Orxa) has opened for public review the feasibility study for the concession of the operation service of the municipal sports center’s bar-restaurant. The opening was agreed upon through Mayoral Resolution No. 2026-0273, dated October 5, 2026, and is announced in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante No. 194, dated October 13, 2026 (reference 7798/2026). Interested parties have one month to examine the file and submit allegations.

The announcement, published in section III. Local Administration, corresponds to the initial approval of the preparatory proceedings file for the service concession contract. The feasibility study supporting the operation was drafted by the entity GS Local, S.L., as detailed in the official text itself.

The procedure is based on Article 247.3 of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts (LCSP), which transposes the directives of the European Parliament and the Council 2014/23/EU and 2014/24/EU, of February 26, 2014, into the Spanish legal system. This regulation requires the feasibility study to be submitted for public exhibition before tendering the concession.

One month of public exhibition and electronic office

The public exhibition period is one month starting from the day following the publication of the announcement. During this period, any interested party may examine the documentation at the municipal offices and formulate any allegations they deem appropriate.

The file is also available to interested parties at the City Council’s electronic office, accessible at http://lorcha.sedelectronica.es. The announcement also serves as notification to interested parties in the event that personal notification of the granting of the hearing procedure cannot be carried out.
