Logroño publishes admitted and excluded candidates for the Public Relations Manager pool

The Logroño City Council has approved the provisional list of admitted and excluded persons for the creation of an employment pool for civil servants under an interim regime for the position of Head of Public Relations at the Municipal Center for Performing Arts (CMRE). The decision is detailed in Resolution 6479/2026, of August 31, published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 169, of September 3, 2026, in section II Authorities and Personnel.

The announcement, signed by Mayor Conrado Escobar Las Heras on September 1, is issued in accordance with Base 5.2 of the bases published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja on May 8, 2026, which called for the selective tests for this employment pool. In addition to the list of applicants, the resolution determines the qualifying tribunal and sets the date, place, and time of the first exercise.

Provisional list of admitted and excluded persons

The provisional list is displayed on the Logroño City Council website and on the Notice Board of the General Directorate of Knowledge and Professional Competencies, located at Avenida de la Paz, 11, Logroño. The resolution orders the publication of the twelve excluded persons, along with their cause for exclusion:

• Nuria Álvarez Ajuria — lack of proof of unemployment
• Diego Arroniz Crespo — lack of proof of unemployment
• Andrés Ausejo Ruiz — lack of proof of unemployment
• Pablo Galilea Valverde — lack of signature on the application and certification of unemployment
• Daniela García García — lack of signature on the admission application
• Ana Belén García Márquez — lack of proof of unemployment
• Alejandro González Sarasa Godoy — lack of proof of unemployment
• Mónica Larrieta Jiménez — lack of signature on the application and certification of unemployment
• Verónica Pérez Palacios — lack of proof of unemployment
• María Rocío Poza Martín — lack of proof of unemployment
• Marta Rodríguez Expósito — lack of proof of unemployment
• Luz María Villar Flor — lack of signature on the admission application

Correction period and first exercise

According to the resolution, the list will automatically become final, if there are no claims, once 10 business days have passed from the day following the publication in the Official Gazette of La Rioja. During this period, excluded persons may correct the defects noted as the cause for exclusion.

The first exercise of the call will take place on September 30, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at the Rafael Azcona Library, located at Calle Alcalde Emilio Francés, 34, Logroño. All applicants must attend provided with their National Identity Document.

Qualifying tribunal

The resolution makes public the nominal composition of the Qualifying Tribunal for the position, including its titular and substitute members:

If any member of the tribunal falls under any of the grounds for abstention set forth in Article 23 of Law 40/2015, of October 1, on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector, they must report it within 5 days from the notification of the resolution.

The creation of this employment pool reinforces the staffing of the Municipal Center for Performing Arts of Logroño, a key facility for the city’s cultural programming. The resolution is of interest both to the applicants, who must monitor the correction period and the date of the first exercise, and to the Riojan cultural sector, which will see a public relations management position filled with guarantees in one of its main performing arts spaces.
