Lloret and Olot appoint career officials in police and administration

The Official Gazette of the Province of Girona (BOP), in issue number 170 of September 3, 2026, has published the appointments of career civil servant personnel for the city councils of Lloret de Mar and Olot. The agreements, adopted by the Local Government Board of Lloret and by decree of the delegated councillor for Internal Affairs of Olot, are made public in compliance with article 82 of Decree 214/1990, of July 30, which approves the Personnel Regulations for the service of local entities.

The appointments affect technical, administrative, and local police positions, and have economic and administrative effects ranging from August to December 2026. Appointments in Lloret de Mar

By agreement of the Local Government Board of Lloret de Mar, career civil servant personnel have been appointed with the following categories and dates of possession:

• Núria Pairolo Pujol, senior technician-architect, with possession on December 1, 2025 (agreement of the Local Government Board of November 21, 2025).
• Olena Demyanchuk, administrative staff, with possession on June 1, 2026 (agreement of May 15, 2026).
• Maria del Mar Fores Ribes, administrative staff, with possession on June 1, 2026 (agreement of May 15, 2026).
• Núria Planells Marote, administrative staff, with possession on June 1, 2026 (agreement of May 15, 2026).
• Sergio Chiva Rivera, local police officer, with possession on August 1, 2026 (agreement of August 7, 2026).

Appointments in Olot

In Olot, the delegated councillor for Internal Affairs has decreed the appointment of three career civil servants, with the following files and effects:

• Juan Antonio Galan Villena, local police corporal (special administration scale, special services sub-scale, group C, subgroup C1, level 22), by decree of July 28, 2026, file RHCO2026000162, effective from August 1, 2026.
• Antoni Francesc Gonzalez Diaz, local police corporal (same scale, sub-scale, and category), by decree of July 28, 2026, file RHCO2026000163, effective from August 1, 2026.
• Maria Angels Batlle Masdeu, intermediate technician (general administration scale, technical sub-scale, group A, subgroup A2, level 24), by decree of August 11, 2026, file RHCO2026000184, effective from August 16, 2026.

The edict, signed by the mayor Agustí Arbós Torrent on August 26, 2026, corresponds to number 7662 of the BOP (official reference BOP-2026_0_170_7662).

Impact on municipal services

The appointments reinforce the staff of two municipalities in the Girona district in key areas such as urban planning, general administration, and local security. In Lloret de Mar, the addition of an architect and three administrative staff members covers technical and management needs, while the new local police officer reinforces the security force. In Olot, the two new local police corporals and the intermediate technician consolidate the specialized and administrative services staff.
