Por FactBox Admin

The Lloret de Mar City Council has opened the 2026 call for grants aimed at non-profit citizen, cultural, and youth organizations to finance activities of public or social interest. The Local Governing Board, in a session on August 28, 2026, approved the specific guidelines and the call, which are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona (BOP) number 169, dated September 2, 2026.

The regime is governed by Law 38/2003, of November 17, the general law on subsidies, and its Regulation, approved by Royal Decree 887/2006, as well as by the municipal General Subsidy Ordinance. The call is registered in the National Subsidy Database (BDNS) with identification number 926902, and the full text of the guidelines can be consulted on the municipal electronic office.

Beneficiaries and requirements

Non-profit organizations registered in the Municipal Registry of Entities of Lloret de Mar, of a cultural or youth nature, with a registered office or delegation in the municipality, may apply for the aid. The required requirements are:

  • To be up to date with tax obligations and debts with the City Council.
  • Not to be subject to any prohibition for obtaining beneficiary status as provided for in the General Subsidy Law.
  • Not to have received any other nominative subsidy from the current municipal budget.
  • To allocate the aid to youth and cultural activities carried out, in force, or to be developed during the year 2026.

Budget and amount of aid

The total budget allocated for the 2026 financial year is 20,000 euros, distributed into two budget items:

  • 26/40/3371/48000 Youth Center, transfers to entities: 3,000 euros.
  • 26/40/3340/48000 Culture, current transfers to cultural entities: 17,000 euros.

The individual amount is determined based on the score obtained, applying the score percentage to the requested amount, with a maximum reference amount of 2,500 euros per application. The awarding procedure is one of competitive bidding, with a scale of up to 100 points that evaluates aspects of the entity (20 points), the project formulation (30 points), the activities (40 points), and the budget (10 points).

Deadlines and submission

Applications, in a single call, shall be submitted electronically using a standardized form at the City Council’s electronic registry, within a period of 20 business days starting from the day after publication in the BOP. The guidelines will remain open to the public during the same period for the submission of allegations, and if any are submitted, the application period will be suspended. The granted subsidies must be justified no later than February 28, 2027.

The announcement is signed by the acting secretary of the City Council, David Reixach i Saura, dated August 28, 2026. The call represents a direct opportunity for local associations and collectives in Lloret de Mar, which will be able to obtain funding to promote cultural and youth projects of public and social interest in the municipality.
