Llinars opens the public prices of the indoor swimming pool for public consultation
Por FactBox Admin

The Plenary of the Llinars del Vallès City Council initially approved, in an extraordinary session on October 27, 2026, the Regulatory Ordinance for the non-tax public patrimonial provision regarding the municipal public service of the indoor swimming pool and sports leisure center. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona (BOPB) on November 2, 2026, with the reference CVE 202610162148. The text is subject to a public information period of 30 business days during which any person may submit allegations.
The ordinance regulates the economic consideration that the council may require for the use of the indoor pool and the sports leisure center, namely, the figure of public prices for a voluntary request service. The initial approval does not yet entail the entry into force of the regulation: first, the public exhibition must be completed and, if no allegation or claim is presented, the text will become definitively approved without the need for any further agreement from the Plenary.
The procedure is framed within local government legislation, which requires local ordinances and regulations to be submitted for public information before their definitive approval. The provisions invoked in the announcement are:
- Article 70.2 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the bases of the local regime.
- Article 63.2 of the Regulation on works, activities, and services of local entities, approved by Decree 179/1995, of June 13.
Deadline, publications, and consultation of the text
The count of 30 business days begins the day after the last of the relevant publications, which are as follows:
- The Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona.
- The Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
- The corporation’s notice board.
- One of the daily written media outlets.
The full text of the ordinance remains available to the public on the municipal notice board and can also be consulted electronically at the headquarters of the Llinars del Vallès City Council (llinarsdelvalles.eadministracio.cat). The announcement is signed in Llinars del Vallès, on October 28, 2026, by the mayor Martí Pujol Casals.
Other open files in the municipality
The indoor pool is not the only matter of an economic nature that Llinars del Vallès has under processing these days. The same BOPB of November 2 includes two more files from the council:
- The Ordinance of public prices for the telecare service, initially approved by the Local Governing Board in an ordinary session on October 26, 2026, also with 30 business days of public information (CVE 202610160118).
- The modification of the tax ordinances for the 2027 fiscal year, provisionally approved by the Plenary on October 27, 2026, and exhibited through the Tax Management Body of the Barcelona Provincial Council (file ORGT/2026/0038769, CVE 202610162358).
Effect on users
While the period lasts, the ordinance is not final and its content may vary if amendments or claims are submitted. Once definitively approved, the text will be the reference standard for service fees and for the relationship between the City Council and the users of the swimming pool and the leisure center.
The news has a direct impact on all current and future users of the municipal sports facility, on the entities and clubs that carry out activities there, and on all taxpayers, since the document establishes the economic framework of a key public facility in the municipality. Furthermore, it is one of three regulatory pieces that Llinars del Vallès is submitting to public exhibition simultaneously, meaning that the period opened on November 2 is the only available window to intervene before the text is finalized.
