Listas definitivas de las oposiciones C1: examen único el 17 de octubre

The General Directorate of the Civil Service of the Government of the Canary Islands has approved the final list of admitted and excluded persons in the selective tests to enter, through the general system of open access, the Administrative Corps (Group C, Subgroup C1) of the Public Administration of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands. The Resolution of September 23, 2026, signed by the general director Francisco Javier Rodríguez del Castillo, is published in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (BOC) no. 197, of October 1, 2026, and further determines the locations, date, and time for the single exercise: October 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

From the call to the final list

The tests were called by Resolution of March 13, 2026 (BOC no. 57, of 3.24.2026), in execution of the 2023 Public Employment Offer approved by Decree 439/2023, of December 18, to which positions from the 2024 and 2025 offers are added, approved by Decree 207/2024, of December 16, and Decree 188/2025, of December 15.

The process is governed by the general bases approved by Order of November 14, 2024 (BOC no. 232, of 11.20.2024), modified by Order of August 8, 2025 (BOC no. 165, of 8.21.2025). The provisional list was published by Resolution of August 26, 2026 (BOC no. 176, of 9.2.2026), which opened a correction period of ten business days, from September 3 to 16, 2026, which has now concluded.

Consultation of the list and effects of admission

  • The final list, including application number, surnames and names, anonymized ID (DNI), and status as admitted or excluded, is published alongside the resolution on the website of the General Directorate of the Civil Service.
  • Applicants may consult their data through the link to the selective processes system enabled by the General Directorate.
  • Admission is limited to verifying the correct completion of the application, identity, and, where applicable, the payment of the fee; the remaining requirements will be accredited only by those who are selected.
  • Those who have requested an adaptation of the exercise and have had to correct the request will receive an individualized notification.
  • Those who consented to their inclusion in the employment lists may check the status of their application on the same website.

Venues, single call, and order of action

The exercise will be held simultaneously in the two provinces:

  • Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife: University of La Laguna (university campuses).
  • Province of Las Palmas: University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (university campuses) and educational centers of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

The distribution of candidates by classroom, ordered alphabetically, will be published in advance on the Directorate General’s website. The call will be a single event and will begin with individuals whose first surname starts with the letter “B”, in accordance with the draw made public by the Resolution of February 27, 2026 (BOC no. 48, of 11.3.2026). Those who do not appear will be excluded from the process, except in cases of force majeure justified and accepted by the Qualifying Board. Candidates must go to the headquarters of the province chosen in their application and prove their identity with a DNI or equivalent document.

Appeals and relevance

Against the resolution, which ends the administrative route, an optional appeal for reversal may be filed before the Directorate General of the Civil Service within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of Santa Cruz de Tenerife of the High Court of Justice of the Canary Islands within two months, counted from the day following its publication.

The publication closes the admission phase of a process affecting thousands of Canarian candidates and establishes a firm exam date: admitted candidates have slightly more than two weeks to confirm their headquarters, prepare their identification documentation, and verify their inclusion before the single call on October 17.
