Final lists for Educator for Persons with Disabilities and exam in October

The Social Services Management of the Department of Health and Social Welfare has approved the final list of admitted and excluded candidates for the selection process for entry, via the internal promotion system, into the professional category of Educator for Persons with Disabilities of the Administration of the Community of Castilla y León. The resolution, signed on August 20, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León number 166, of August 27, 2026, pages 12 and 13, with official reference BOCYL-D-27082026-166-4.

The process stems from the Resolution of November 20, 2025, which called for the selection, published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León on November 27, 2025. Following the deadline for appeals and in accordance with clause 9.2 of the call, the Management now resolves to close the lists and set the date for the single exercise of the competitive examination phase.

The final lists of admitted and excluded applicants, indicating the causes for exclusion, are available to the public at the Registration assistance offices of the Community of Castilla y León and on the public employee portal http://www.empleopublico.jcyl.es, as provided for in the twelfth provision of the call order.

Single competitive examination exercise

All admitted applicants are summoned to take the single exercise of the competitive examination phase on October 3, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., at the Regional Center for Training and Social Studies (CREFES), located at Plaza de San Nicolás, no. 17, Valladolid.

Candidates must prove their identity with their D.N.I. or any other reliable identification document and bring a blue or black ink pen.

Appeals

Against this resolution, which exhausts the administrative route, a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Castilla y León within two months from the day following its publication, in accordance with articles 10.1.a) and 14.2 of Law 29/1998, of July 13. Prior to this, and optionally, a request for reversal may also be filed before the Management itself within one month, according to articles 123 and following of Law 39/2015, of October 1.

The resolution is signed by the Manager of Social Services, by delegation of signature from the Vice-Minister of Social Welfare, Esperanza Vázquez Boyero, by virtue of Order SAN/590/2026, of June 25 (B.O.C. y L. no. 122, of June 26).

The publication closes a key stage for those applying for internal promotion within the Community’s social services, who now know their definitive status and the date of the exam. With the single exercise scheduled for October 3 in Valladolid, candidates have just over a month to prepare for the test that will decide their access to a professional category essential for the care of people with disabilities.
