Final list for the Administrative Body: 1,446 admitted and exam in November
Por FactBox Admin

The General Directorate of Public Service of the Government of La Rioja has approved the final list of candidates admitted and excluded from the selective tests for the Administrative Corps of General Administration (open and disability reserve), file FA.13/24-26, and has scheduled the first exercise for November 21, 2026. The decision is formalized through Resolution 2584/2026, dated October 6, published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 199, dated October 15, 2026, within section II. Authorities and Personnel (official reference BOR-A-20261015-II–1157).
Regulatory framework and background of the selection process
The resolution is issued under the powers conferred by article 17.d) of Decree 51/2023, dated July 14, which establishes the organic structure of the Ministry of Finance, Public Governance, Digital Society and Government Spokesperson, in development of Law 3/2003, dated March 3, on the Organization of the Public Sector of the Autonomous Community of La Rioja.
The file originates from the call approved by Resolution 1368/2026, dated June 5, published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 108, dated June 10, 2026. Following the correction period provided for in clause 5 of Resolution 1406/2026, dated June 16, Resolution 2194/2026, dated August 26 (BOR number 167, dated September 1, 2026), approved the provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates. The new resolution closes that phase definitively.
1,446 admitted and 46 excluded
Annex I contains the final list of admitted persons, with a total of 1,446 candidates, distributed across two shifts:
- Disability reserve shift: 66 admitted persons.
- Open shift: 1,380 admitted persons.
Annex II details the excluded persons, totaling 46 in all, all from the open shift, as no exclusions were recorded in the disability reserve shift. The causes for exclusion are identified by numerical codes within the resolution itself:
- 14: the qualification required in the call for applications is not evidenced.
- 30: failure to electronically attach the proof of payment.
- 74: failure to prove the homologation of the required qualification.
- 76: unsigned sworn statement of nationality.
- 84: failure to electronically attach the sworn statement of nationality.
- 91: failure to provide documentation proving representation.
- 95: failure to electronically attach a valid large family certificate.
- 96: failure to electronically attach the negative report of rejections from the state public employment service (SEPE).
- 98: income not lower than the minimum interprofessional wage.
- 100: failure to prove job seeker status.
- 101: failure to meet the minimum job search period established in the call for applications.
Date, time and venue of the first exercise
The second section of the resolution sets the first exercise for November 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at the premises of the University of La Rioja.
To take the test, all applicants must be provided with their national identity document, driver’s license, or passport that proves their identity beyond doubt, as established in the third section.
Appeal process
The resolution, signed in Logroño on October 6, 2026, by the Director General of Public Function, Ángel Sainz Yangüela, does not exhaust the administrative route. An administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) may be filed before the Minister of Finance, Public Governance, Digital Society and Government Spokesperson within one month, counting from the day following its publication, in accordance with Article 45 of Law 4/2005, of June 1, and Articles 112.1, 121, and 122 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
The publication of the final list clears the uncertainty for the more than 1,400 applicants competing for these positions and marks the effective start of the testing calendar: from now on, candidates have slightly more than a month to prepare for a first exercise that will be held at a single location, the University of La Rioja, and whose results will determine access to the regional public service in the next legislature.
