The resolution is contained in Order No. 4028, dated August 31, 2026, registered under number 2026004028 in the Official Resolution Book of the Ministry, and appears in the Official Gazette of the Autonomous City of Melilla (BOME) number 6411, dated September 4, 2026.
The final list is issued following the end of the period for submitting claims against the provisional list, published in BOME No. 6404, dated August 11, 2026, which concluded on August 25. The process is handled under file 43782/2025 and is resolved based on the report issued by the Public Employee Management Office regarding the claims submitted. The call for applications is governed by the rules published in BOME No. 6369, dated April 10, 2026.

- Reason 4: failure to submit the qualification required in the rules of the call.
Publication and appeals
The list of admitted and excluded candidates is published in the Official Gazette of the City and on the Notice Board, in compliance with the provisions of the call for applications. Against the order, which does not exhaust administrative remedies, an administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) may be filed within one month from the day following its notification or publication, before the Department itself or before the Most Excellent Mr. President of the Autonomous City, as the hierarchical superior, pursuant to Article 92.1 of the Regulations of the Government and Administration of the Autonomous City of Melilla and Articles 121 et seq. of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure. The maximum period for issuing and notifying the resolution of the appeal is three months. The order is signed by the Technical Secretary of Public Administration, Francisco José Rubio Soler, in Melilla, on August 31, 2026.
The publication of this final list represents a decisive step in the selection process, as it firmly establishes who may take the exams to fill two civil servant positions in the body of Technical Public Works Engineers of the local administration. For the twelve admitted candidates, the resolution opens the way to the competitive examination; for those excluded, it leaves open the possibility of appealing within the legal timeframe. The news directly affects the applicants and access to local public employment, in a process promoted by the Autonomous City to strengthen its technical services.
