Por FactBox Admin

The liquidation commissions of three Nicaraguan cooperatives published notices in La Gaceta — Official Gazette urging their creditors to appear before each commission to verify the amount of their credits within fifteen (15) days following the final publication of the notice. The three notices, corresponding to references Reg. 2026-819, Reg. 2026-821, and Reg. 2026-837, appear in edition number 169 on Thursday, September 10, 2026, in the Notices section of the Nicaraguan Institute for Cooperative Development (INFOCCOP).
The notices are published in accordance with the provisions of Article 86 of the Regulations of Law No. 499, General Law of Cooperatives, which regulates the liquidation process of cooperative entities. The affected cooperatives are Taxis Máximo Jerez, R.L., the multiple services cooperative for health workers “Silvia Ferrufino” (COOPESALUD, R.L.), and the “Dulce Nombre de Jesús” Intercommunity Multiple Services Cooperative, R.L., whose liquidation commissions are calling upon members, suppliers, and other creditors to regularize their credits.
Deadline and Requirements
Creditors of the three cooperatives must appear before the corresponding liquidation commission within fifteen (15) days following the final publication of the notice, during office hours, in order to verify the amount of their credits. Failure to meet this deadline may affect the recognition of the balances in favor of each creditor in the liquidation process.
Where to Go
Each liquidation commission has established an address and office hours to receive creditors:
- Taxis Máximo Jerez, R.L.: barrio El Recreo, Instituto Benjamín Zeledón 3C South, 1 1/2 C East, Managua; hours from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- COOPESALUD, R.L.: Km 7 north highway, Gasolinera Uno 1c toward the lake 1c up; hours from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Signatures and Dates
The notices are signed by the presidents of the respective liquidation commissions:

- José Francisco Castillo, president of the liquidation commission of COOPESALUD, R.L., notice dated in Managua on August 20, 2026.
The publication of these notices is part of the dissolution and liquidation procedure of the cooperatives, which seeks to provide certainty to creditors regarding the recognition of their credits before the final closure of the entities. For members, suppliers, and workers linked to these organizations, the fifteen-day period is the window to assert their economic rights in the process.
