Linares tenders the market stall licenses through competitive bidding.

The Linares City Council has put out to tender the municipal licenses for street trading in the form of a street market, which will be awarded, through the competitive tendering procedure. The opening of the process is announced in Official Gazette of the Province of Jaén number 157, of Friday, 14 August 2026, which publishes the notice making available to interested parties the document containing the particular administrative clauses that will govern the award.

The notice, included in the Local Administration section of the gazette, is signed by Antonio Luis Hervás Martínez, delegate councillor for Health and Consumer Affairs of the Linares City Council, acting under the signing delegation granted by Resolution of 22 June 2023. The call is identified by edict number 2026/3914 and is addressed to street trading operators interested in obtaining one of the municipal market stall licenses in the city’s street markets.

This is the ordinary management of this type of authorisation: the City Council calls for new licenses and publishes the specifications in the official gazette and in its contracting profile to publicise the procedure and guarantee equal opportunities among applicants.

Award by competitive tendering
