Amounts and beneficiaries
The financial allocation is 10,000.00 euros and is charged to budget application 430 47900 of the expenditure statement of the 2026 budget. The amounts to be received per beneficiary are:
- 1,000.00 euros for full-time workers with a minimum contract of one year.
- 500.00 euros for young interns with a minimum duration of 6 months.
In the case of part-time hiring, the grant amount is reduced proportionally to the working day.
Beneficiaries may be companies, whether natural or legal persons, that have their registered office in the municipality of les Borges Blanques and that hire new personnel for a minimum duration of one year or hire young interns for a minimum duration of 6 months during the year 2026.
Evaluation criteria
The scoring criteria set in the call are:
- If the hired person is the first employee of the company: 2 points.
- If the hired worker is unemployed: 4 points.
- If the hired worker resides in les Borges Blanques: 4 points.
Regardless of the score obtained, preference will be given to applicants who have not been beneficiaries of this grant line during the previous year. In the event of a tie and if there is insufficient funding, it will be resolved by taking into account the time the worker has been unemployed; if the tie persists, the amount will be distributed proportionally among the applicants with the same score.
Processing, resolution, and justification
Applications shall be addressed in a standardized instance to the Honorable Mayor of the City Council of les Borges Blanques and may be submitted through any of the means admitted under current legislation. Two applications per beneficiary will be accepted, but the second will only be processed if sufficient credit remains from the forecast; if two applications of different amounts are submitted and nothing is indicated, the one with the higher amount will be taken into account.
A qualification commission will prepare the proposed resolution within a maximum period of one month from the end of the application submission period. The commission will be composed of:
- The Councilor for Finance.
- The Councilor for Economic Promotion and Trade.
- The Secretary.
- The Comptroller.
The proposal will be submitted to the Local Government Board, which will definitively resolve the grant within a maximum period of one month from the receipt of the proposal. Expenses incurred by the company for the hiring of new personnel will be eligible for subsidies.
To justify the aid, copies of the payment receipts for Social Security contributions, RNT, and RLC must be provided, as well as the payrolls of the worker hired during the subsidized period. The maximum term for justification is 2 months from the end of the subsidized period.
The line seeks to incentivize stable hiring and the labor insertion of young people into the economic fabric of les Borges Blanques, with priority for unemployed persons and those residing in the municipality. With an allocation of 10,000 euros, the program covers a maximum of ten full-time one-year hires, meaning the credit may be exhausted quickly among the applications that meet the requirements.
