Lerkenfeld Å land consolidation draft goes before commission in November
Por FactBox Admin

The draft land consolidation plan for the area between Farsø and Gedsted in Vesthimmerlands Kommune is now ready to be presented to the jordfordelingskommission, which meets on 25 November 2026 at 14:00 at Vesterbølle Efterskole. At that meeting the commission is expected to issue its ruling and make the land exchanges final. The summons to rights holders was published in the official gazette Statstidende on 4 November 2026 under reference S02112026-67.
The entry appears in section I of the gazette under the heading “Forskellige kundgørelser” and the sub-heading “Jordfordeling – indkaldelse af rettighedshavere”, with the title “Jordfordeling Lerkenfeld Å”. It is signed at Tønder on 2 November 2026 by Helle Jürgensen.
The wording of the notice makes the legal sequence explicit: the draft plan is “ready to be presented” to the commission, which is expected to “rule and make the land exchanges final”. In other words, the 25 November meeting is the point at which the provisional plan becomes binding for the properties included in the scheme, subject to the commission’s handling of objections. Unlike several parallel consolidation notices carried in Statstidende, this entry prints no case number (“Sagsnummer”) in its body.
Date, time and venue
The meeting is open to rights holders and other interested parties, and the practical details are set out in a dedicated section of the notice:
- Date: 25 November 2026
- Time: 14:00
- Venue: Vesterbølle Efterskole
- Address: Sognevejen 300, Vesterbølle
- Postcode and town: 9631 Gedsted
- Country: Denmark
The venue lies in the same postal district as the southern end of the consolidation area, on the road between the two towns named in the plan.
What the commission will decide
According to the notice, three things are on the agenda when the jordfordelingskommission convenes in Vesterbølle. First, the commission is expected to issue its ruling on the draft plan. Second, it will make the land exchanges final, which fixes the redistribution of parcels among the landowners covered by the scheme. Third, it will consider any complaints and claims that have been raised against the plan.
The notice does not quantify the number of properties, the area affected or the value of the exchanges; it describes the plan only by reference to the stretch of country between Farsø and Gedsted. Nor does it name the landowners involved, who are addressed collectively as rights holders.
Attendance is not a condition
One point is stated plainly: it is not necessary to take part in the meeting for a ruling to be issued. The practical consequence is that a landowner who stays away does not halt the process, and the commission can still rule and finalise the exchanges in his or her absence.
Rights holders and other interested parties are nonetheless invited to attend, which gives them a direct opportunity to hear the plan presented and to see how objections and claims are dealt with before the ruling is given.
Why it matters
For landowners, tenants and holders of easements or other rights in the Lerkenfeld Å area, the 25 November meeting is the last scheduled occasion at which the draft plan is presented in public before the exchanges are made final. Anyone with an interest in the outcome should note the date, the 14:00 start and the venue at Vesterbølle Efterskole, and should be aware that the ruling can be issued whether or not they attend.
