Por FactBox Admin

The Court of First Instance of León has declared the compulsory insolvency proceedings (concurso necesario) of Drotium, S.L., has removed its sole administrator, and has suspended the company’s administration and disposal powers, which are transferred to the insolvency administration. The resolution, dated July 6, 2026, within insolvency proceeding 423/2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Mercantile Registry (BORM) no. 183, of September 22, 2026, with the official reference BORME-A-2026-183-24.
The announcement appears in the First Section of the BORM, dedicated to the registered acts of entrepreneurs, under the heading for the province of León. The registration was carried out on September 15, 2026, according to the registry data accompanying the entry (page LE 24374). The announcement itself states that the judicial resolution is not final.
The order and the issuing body
The declaration of insolvency corresponds to the Civil Section of the Court of First Instance of León, court number 8, and bears the signature of Judge Miriam Valverde Hernández. The published data are as follows:
- Insolvency proceeding: 423/2026.
- Date of resolution: July 6, 2026.
- Nature of insolvency: compulsory.
- Finality: not listed as final.
- Date of registry entry: September 15, 2026.
Removal of the administrator and new insolvency administrator
The order agrees to the removal of the corporate administration of the debtor. The outgoing sole administrator is Antonio Yuste González, who had been at the head of the company since its incorporation. In his place, José Luis Merino García, with NIF 09674635F, is appointed as the insolvency administrator, a designation also dated July 6, 2026.
The announcement specifies that the appointment is pending the acceptance of the position and the verification of his personal circumstances, a standard procedure before the insolvency administrator fully assumes their duties.
Suspension of company powers
The third resolution included in the announcement agrees to the suspension of the administration and disposal powers of the debtor’s assets by its governing body. These powers are replaced by the insolvency administration, meaning the company loses the capacity to make decisions regarding its assets while the insolvency proceedings are processed.
Company background
Drotium, S.L. was incorporated and began operations on December 14, 2016, with its registered office at calle Martín Sarmiento 7, 2º derecha, León, and an initial capital of 100,000 euros. Its corporate purpose focused on the procurement, production, and manufacture of unmanned aircraft, vehicles, and vessels, as well as the deployment of high-security data networks, with primary activity code 7112.
In March 2018, the company increased its capital by 1,800,000 euros, reaching 1,900,000 euros subscribed. In the following years, the BORM recorded the appointment of a proxy and the designation and subsequent revocation of its statutory auditor, without any other insolvency-related acts having been published to date.
The compulsory insolvency proceedings imply that the insolvency was recognized at the request of a creditor and not by the debtor itself, which strengthens the judicial and insolvency administration’s control over the assets. From now on, creditors and employees must contact the designated insolvency administration for the recognition of their credits and to learn the procedure’s schedule, while the company is deprived of the management of its assets.
