León opens the taxi fare review for 2027 to allegations

The León City Council has opened the public information period for the annual tariff review file of the Public Taxi Service for the year 2027. The decision corresponds to the Mayor-President of the corporation and is notified via an announcement published in the Official Gazette of the Province of León (Boletín Oficial de la Provincia de León) no. 202, corresponding to Friday, October 23, 2026, with the official reference BOP-LE-2026-202003. The framework: the Price Commission of Castilla y León

The announcement is issued “for the purposes determined by Decree 29/2007, of March 22, which regulates the Price Commission of Castilla y León.” In other words, the tariff review for the urban taxi in the Leonese capital is processed within the framework of the regional authorized price procedure, which requires the file to be subject to public exhibition before its final approval.

The complete file can be examined in two ways:

• In person, at the Municipal Transport Office, located at calle San Agustín nº 1 in León, during business hours from 9:00 to 14:00, Monday to Friday, both inclusive.
• Electronically, on the notice board of the municipal Electronic Office (sede.aytoleon.es), in the section “files in public information period.”

The announcement was signed in León on October 20, 2026, by the Mayor, P.D., Vicente Canuria Atienza, and occupies page 9 of the bulletin, within a summary that gathers 28 local and state administration announcements.

Why it matters
