Le BIPT recrute deux juristes Digital Services Act par sélections comparatives bilingues

The Federal Public Service Strategy and Support (FPS BOSA) published two comparative selections in the Belgian Official Gazette of September 17, 2026, to recruit “Digital Services Act” legal experts for the Consumer Department of the Belgian Institute for Postal regulation and Telecommunications (BIPT). The notices bear references [2026/202376] and [2026/202347] and appear on page 50602 of the official journal. Applications are open from September 17 to October 1, 2026, inclusive.

Two twin selections for the same profile

  • AFE26005: comparative selection of “Digital Services ACT” legal experts, French-speaking, for the BIPT.
  • ANE26007: comparative selection of “Digital Services ACT” legal experts, Dutch-speaking, for the BIPT.
  • Position: legal expert in the Consumer Department, level A, open to candidates of all genders (m/f/x).
  • Employer: the Belgian Institute for Postal regulation and Telecommunications, the federal regulator for the postal and telecommunications sectors.

Both notices are published under the heading of the Federal Public Service Strategy and Support, the federal administration that organizes recruitment selections on behalf of public bodies. The wording of the two announcements is identical, except for the language and the selection number: same job title, same assignment department, and same level.

Application procedures

  • Submission period: from September 17, 2026, to October 1, 2026, inclusive.
  • Online submission: via www.travaillerpour.be for the French-speaking selection and www.werkenvoor.be for the Dutch-speaking selection.
  • Job description: the content of the position, the participation conditions, and the selection procedure are available from FPS BOSA.
  • Searching for the announcement: the selection number (AFE26005 or ANE26007) must be entered into the site’s search engine.

Lists of successful candidates and reserves

  • A list of successful candidates valid for one year will be established after the selection.
  • A specific list of successful candidates with a disability, valid for four years, will be established in addition to this list.

A wave of federal selections

The two notices dedicated to the BIPT appear in the official notices section of the Belgian Official Gazette of September 17, 2026, alongside other federal comparative selections, several of which also close on October 1, 2026, notably BFG26065 (management support attachés for the Luxembourg prosecutor’s office), BNG26064 and BNG26080 (clerks for the Judicial Order), and BNG26074 (chief clerk in Leuven). For the latter, the validity period of the list of successful candidates varies from two years to an unlimited duration, depending on the notice.

Recruitment is part of the current operations of the federal regulator, whose personnel status is determined by royal decrees issued on the basis of the law of 17 January 2003 relating to the status of the regulator of the Belgian postal and telecommunications sectors, a regulatory framework also published in the Belgian Official Gazette.

For legal candidates interested in digital services law, the process offers two parallel access routes depending on the linguistic regime, with an application window of only two weeks. Successful candidates will join a reserve valid for one year, which allows the BIPT to fill several successive positions in the Consumer department without relaunching the procedure.
