Álava opens public information for the 30 MW Pe Pando wind farm

The Basque Government has opened for public consultation the request for prior administrative authorization for the “Pe Pando” wind farm, promoted by Macrina Solar 33, SL in the municipal districts of Ayala and Okondo (Álava). The announcement, signed on September 3, 2026, by the territorial delegate of Industry, Energy Transition, and Sustainability of Álava, Javier Aizpuru Ochoa de Eribe, is published in the Official Gazette of the Historical Territory of Álava (BOTHA) no. 109, dated September 23, 2026, with reference 2026-02687.

The procedure is issued for the purposes provided for in Article 4 of Decree 115/2002, of May 28, which regulates the procedure for the authorization of electric energy production facilities from wind energy through wind farms within the scope of the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country. This is not the authorization resolution, but rather the opening of a period during which natural or legal persons interested in the implementation and operation of the same park may submit competing applications, in accordance with Article 3 of the aforementioned decree.

The file corresponds to the Territorial Delegation of Industrial Administration of Álava, under the Department of Industry, Energy Transition, and Sustainability of the Basque Government, which acts as the competent body for processing. In the same edition of the gazette, another announcement from the same territorial delegate is published regarding the hybridization of an existing cogeneration plant with a solar park and battery storage “Coalsema” in Berantevilla, meaning the province has several energy projects under simultaneous processing.
