Lauritz.com estate summons creditors to claim examination meeting in Copenhagen
Por FactBox Admin

The estate of the auction house LAURITZ.COM A/S, registered under CVR no. 24994570 at Dynamovej 11C, 2860 Søborg, has summoned creditors to a meeting to examine the claims filed in the bankruptcy. The meeting will be held on Tuesday 10 November 2026 at 11:00 at the office of co-trustee attorney Henrik Selchau Poulsen, Bruun & Hjejle Advokatpartnerselskab, Nørregade 21, 1165 København K. The summons was published in Statstidende on 27 October 2026 under the bankruptcy notices heading (Konkursboer), with official reference S23102026-270 and case number K 1618/23-F.
Legal basis and issuing authority
The notice is issued under section 131(1) of the Danish Bankruptcy Act (konkursloven), which requires the trustee to call a meeting at which the claims notified under section 94 of the same act are examined and either recognised or rejected. The estate is administered before the bankruptcy division (skifteret) of the Sø- og Handelsretten, Denmark’s specialised court for maritime and commercial cases, which appears in the notice as the court handling the estate.
The examination is the procedural step in which the estate’s trustee presents a recommendation on each notified claim, and creditors can have their objections recorded before any distribution of the estate’s assets. The claims themselves, with supporting annexes, are not reproduced in the gazette notice; the notice only points to where they may be inspected.
Practical details for creditors
- Date and time: Tuesday 10 November 2026, at 11:00.
- Venue: the office of co-trustee Henrik Selchau Poulsen, Bruun & Hjejle Advokatpartnerselskab, Nørregade 21, 1165 København K.
- Case number: K 1618/23-F (CVR no. 24994570).
- Trustee’s file number: j.nr. 2812314, under which the recommendation and the annexes lie for inspection at the trustee’s office.
- Second inspection point: a copy of the recommendation list (indstillingslisten) is available at the bankruptcy division of the Sø- og Handelsretten, Amaliegade 35, 2nd floor, 1256 København K.
Trustees and a third round of examinations
Two trustees are registered for the estate: attorney Henrik Selchau Poulsen of Nørregade 21, 1165 København K, and attorney Rune Derno of Kalvebod Brygge 32, 1560 København V. The Danish spelling of the first trustee’s surname appears in the notice both as “Selchau” and as “Selschau”, the same name in two variants.
The November meeting is the third claim examination in the estate to be announced in Statstidende within a few months, and it is the first of the three convened at the Bruun & Hjejle address:
- A meeting on 15 September 2026 at 14:00, at the office of Rune Derno, Advokatfirmaet Poul Schmith, Kalvebod Brygge 32, published on 26 August 2026 (S12082026-222).
- A meeting on 30 September 2026 at 11:00, at the same address, concerning specific section 94 claims and notably debt-ledger no. 707/1, whose creditor could not be served and whose claim was recommended for rejection; published on 15 September 2026 (S08092026-173).
- The 10 November 2026 meeting, convened at the co-trustee’s Bruun & Hjejle office and covering “claims filed under section 94” generally, without the restriction to specific claims that marked the September rounds.
The succession of meetings reflects the volume of notified claims rather than a single dispute: each round of examination requires its own summons, its own inspection reference and its own recommendation list deposited with the court.
Why it matters
For the private sellers and buyers who used LAURITZ.COM A/S as an auction intermediary, and for the estate’s other creditors, the 10 November meeting is the point at which the notified claims can still be contested before the trustee’s recommendations become the basis for distribution. Creditors who have filed a claim and wish to object must appear, or be represented, at Nørregade 21 at 11:00 on that date, or have reviewed the recommendation through the court’s copy at Amaliegade 35; after the examination, the recommendation list stands as the estate’s position on each claim.
