Las Rozas: public consultation opened for the closure of an access to the A-6
Por FactBox Admin

The State Road Demarcation of Madrid, under the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, has opened for public consultation the proposal to close the existing access to the Ceudas building, located on the cadastral reference plot 5260006VK2856N, which connects to the right service road of the A-6 highway at kilometer point 22+350, in the municipality of Las Rozas de Madrid. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid number 204, dated August 27, 2026, and opens a period of 20 business days for interested parties to submit allegations.
The decision was adopted on July 3, 2026, by the Deputy Director General of Planning and Operation, by delegation of the General Directorate of Roads, and is framed within current road regulations: the General Road Regulations (R.D. 1812/1994, of September 2), article 36.6 of Law 37/2015, of September 29, on roads, and article 98 of the General Road Regulations (R.D. 899/2025, of October 9). The processed file is 02/13.518/26.
Reasons for the closure
According to the announcement, the access negatively affects road safety and the proper operation of the highway by failing to comply with current regulations. Specifically, it does not respect the minimum distances between accesses, although the plot has an alternative access via the same Camino de Ceudas street, a few meters further from the service road and at a distance greater than the stopping distance.
- The closure could entail the internal reorganization of the plot to ensure the entry and exit of vehicles through the access furthest from the service road.
- The creation of an internal plot road connecting the two current accesses is contemplated.
Affected parties and how to appeal
The primarily affected holders are those of the cadastral reference plot 5260006VK2856N, with postal addresses at Cr Coruña, 110 and/or C/ Camino de las Ceudas, 2 bis. Interested parties may submit allegations and suggestions within a period of 20 business days from publication, addressed to the State Road Demarcation of Madrid (street Josefa Valcárcel, 11, 28027 Madrid).
- Allegations may be submitted through the official channels of article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on common administrative procedure.
- They may also be submitted through the electronic office of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility.
- The resolution will be available at the Ministry’s Public Participation link.
The announcement was signed in Madrid on August 17, 2026, by the engineer of the Conservation Area Jaime López-Cuervo Abad, exercising the delegation of signatures of the Demarcation.
Relevance for readers
The measure directly affects the users and owners of the plot of the Ceudas building in Las Rozas, who will have to reorganize their access to the A-6 highway if the closure is confirmed. The public information process ensures that those affected can present their allegations before the administration makes a final decision regarding the safety and operation of one of the main access routes to the capital.
