Las juntas electorales de zona publican locales y carteles para el 29N

The zonal electoral boards of Seville and Morón de la Frontera have made public the available locations for the free placement of posters, banners, and streamers, as well as the official premises and public places reserved for campaign events for the general elections on November 29. The edicts, signed on October 16, 2026, are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville No. 203, dated October 20, 2026, with official references BOP-SE-2026-203035 and BOP-SE-2026-203033.

The call stems from Royal Decree 806/26, of October 5, 2026 (BOE No. 248, of October 6, 2026), which sets the election date for November 29. The edicts are based on articles 54, 56, and 57 of the Organic Law 5/1985 on the General Electoral Regime, which require administrations to provide free spaces for propaganda and premises for public events during the campaign.

The published availability schedules cover November 13 to 27, the campaign period, and in several municipalities, it is noted that the occupation of squares and civic centers is subject to prior reservations already committed.

Seville capital: streamers with quotas per street and eleven districts

The edict from the Zonal Electoral Board of Seville spans 45 pages and includes the annex from the Municipal Urban Planning Management with the distribution of streamers street by street. Some of the roads with the highest quotas are:

  • Camino de los Descubrimientos: 185 streamers.
  • Avenida de Jerez: 133, unavailable from November 18 to 27.
  • Avenida de Kansas City: 107, unavailable from November 13 to 22.
  • Avenida de la Palmera: 89.
  • Paseo de las Delicias: 84, unavailable from November 13 to 22.
  • Avenida de Juan Pablo II: 82.

Installation must adhere to strict technical conditions: poles of at least 8 meters in height, streamers of 0.90 x 1.20 or 0.90 x 1.65 meters, a maximum surface area of 1.50 square meters per support, and a safety coefficient of no less than 2.5 in accordance with Royal Decree 2642/1985, the Ministerial Order of July 11, 1986, and Royal Decree 842/2002. The use of artistic cast-iron lampposts or historical models is excluded.

For campaign events, the capital reserves spaces in the eleven districts, from Plaza San Juan de la Palma and the Muelle de la Sal in the Old Town to the Parque de los Príncipes in Los Remedios, in addition to the network of Municipal Civic Centers with detailed capacities: the Assembly Hall of the El Esqueletos Civic Center accommodates 100 people and its central courtyard 500, while the hall of the Torre del Agua Civic Center reaches 219.

Nearly half a hundred municipalities in Aljarafe and la Campiña

The Sevillian edict lists the enabled spaces town by town. Among the examples with the most provisions are:

  • Alcalá de Guadaíra: Parque Centro has seating for 930 people and a paved area for 2,000 standing or 900 seated; the Centro Cívico Silos-Zacatín has a capacity of 177 people.
  • Alcalá del Río: Plazas del Calvario and de España, with a capacity for 1,000 people each, and the hall of the Casa de la Cultura, for 180.
  • Camas: 58 supports in the Pañoleta area, 68 in the Carrefour surroundings, and 81 in Santa María de Gracia-Mercedes de Velilla.
  • Tomares: the Plaza de la Constitución is available every day of the campaign from 9:00 to 24:00 hours.
  • Umbrete: requires 72 hours’ prior notice if municipal resources are needed and 24 hours if only the venue is used.
  • Guillena: the municipal booth at the fairgrounds is excluded from November 7 to 16 due to the hunting fair.

Morón de la Frontera: seven municipalities and banner limits

The Zonal Electoral Board of Morón de la Frontera publishes the spaces for Algámitas, Coripe, Montellano, Morón de la Frontera, Pruna, La Puebla de Cazalla, and El Coronil, with the closing signature on page 335 (ref. BOP-SE-2026-203034). Montellano limits propaganda on lampposts to a maximum of 250 banners and 150 placards, and Morón de la Frontera expressly prohibits posters on street furniture.

In La Puebla de Cazalla, open and closed spaces can be used from 10:00 to 24:00 hours, and the obligation to comply with the municipal street cleaning ordinance published in BOP No. 49, dated March 2, 2021, is reminded. Coripe details 18 streets with lampposts counted one by one.

Mandatory cleaning and prohibitions

Parties, coalitions, and groups using official venues must leave the spaces “in a perfect state of hygiene and health” at the end of each event. In the capital, pasting posters on containers, bus stops, and other street furniture is prohibited, and the use of loudspeakers is subject to the ordinance against noise pollution.

The distribution of spaces and supports conditions the campaign planning of all parties and forces city councils to manage reservations, schedules, and cleaning within a fifteen-day calendar. Candidates and organizations now have the official list to request venues and organize events in the municipalities where they are running.
