The Calderonian Days of Yepes, Festival of National Tourist Interest

The State Secretariat for Tourism has granted the title of Festival of National Tourist Interest to the Jornadas Calderonianas of Yepes (Castilla-La Mancha). The recognition is formalized through the Resolution of July 7, 2026, signed by the Secretary of State for Tourism, Rosario Sánchez Grau, and published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) number 229, dated September 16, 2026.

The distinction is granted in accordance with Article 12 of Order ICT/851/2019, of July 25, which regulates the declaration of festivals of national and international tourist interest, published in BOE number 188, of August 7, 2019. With this title, the celebration in the Toledo town is incorporated into the state catalog of festivities with national tourist projection.

The resolution, issued within the scope of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, concludes the administrative process. The appeals provided for in general legislation may be filed against it:

• Optional appeal for reversal (recurso potestativo de reposición) before the same body that issued it, within one month of its notification (Articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on Common Administrative Procedure).
• Contentious-administrative appeal before the competent body of the contentious-administrative jurisdiction, within two months, pursuant to Law 29/1998, of July 13.
