Las Hormazas presents the expansion of the water supply network in Solano

The City Council of Las Hormazas has initially approved, by Mayoral Decree No. 2026-0167 of August 27, 2026, the “Valued report for the expansion of the water supply and sanitation network and improvement of the Pericedo stream in the Solano neighborhood,” and is submitting it for public exhibition. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos, number 167, of September 3, 2026, with reference BOPBUR-2026-03723.

The technical document, drafted by the Public Works engineer Ms. Basilia González González, collegiate number 10,429, sets a base tender budget of 40,014.01 euros, VAT included. The action combines the expansion of the supply and sanitation networks with the improvement of the Pericedo stream bed in the Solano neighborhood.

Legal Framework and Public Exhibition Process

The initial approval is processed in accordance with Article 93 of Royal Legislative Decree 781/1986, of April 18, the recast text of legal provisions in force regarding Local Government, as well as the provisions of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts, and Article 83 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

The document is subject to public exhibition for a period of twenty business days, counted from the insertion of the announcement in the provincial gazette, so that allegations and claims regarding the technical content may be formulated.

Effects of the Approval

In the event that no claims or allegations are presented during the process, the technical document will be understood as definitively approved, which will allow progress toward the tendering of the works. The action is part of the improvement of basic municipal services and the hydraulic network of the Solano neighborhood, one of the localities of the municipality of Las Hormazas.

The publication of this report represents a relevant step for the residents of Solano, who will see their supply and sanitation infrastructures expanded and the environment of the Pericedo stream improved, with a municipal investment of nearly 40,000 euros. The period for allegations offers interested parties the opportunity to review the project before its final approval.
