Amount and percentages according to the protection level

The maximum allocation is 140,000 euros, with intervention reference 26.26.RC.000187. The aid is in the form of non-repayable grants and is calculated by applying a percentage to the contract budget of the works, VAT included:

  • Level 1: 40%, up to a maximum protectable amount of 13,000 euros.
  • Level 2: 40%, up to 12,000 euros.

  • Level 5: 30%, up to 8,000 euros.
  • Level 6: 25%, up to 7,000 euros, provided that the actions reduce the impact of inappropriate elements.

The granting of aid is conditional upon the removal of inadequate or added elements indicated by the applicable urban planning regulations, including advertising elements or those executed without a license.

Accessibility, energy efficiency, and technical expenses

  • Accessibility works: 40% of the execution amount, up to 12,000 euros, regardless of the protection level of the property.
  • Energy efficiency and thermal improvement of the building envelope: 20%, up to 12,000 euros, provided that the energy rating is increased by at least one level and the PEPV is complied with.
  • Drafting of the technical project: 2,200 euros.
  • Technical direction: 1,600 euros.
  • Building Evaluation Report, when mandatory: 600 euros per building.

The same concept cannot be subsidized twice.

Beneficiaries and application deadline

Homeowners and users may apply for the grants, either individually or grouped in civil societies or any other associative form with the authority to act upon all common elements of the property. They must certify, via a responsible declaration, that they are not debtors to the Municipal Treasury nor have any pending reimbursement of grants paid previously and incorrectly justified. The benefit is transferable between the property owners in the event of a legal transaction inter vivos or mortis causa.

The minimum period for submitting applications is two months from the publication of the summary in the BOC. The processing, provisional and final granting, and justification are subject to Chapter III of the municipal ordinance. The agreement is signed by the mayor, Miguel González González.

The call opens a channel of public financing for the residents of the historic center to conserve and consolidate a protected urban complex, while conditioning the aid on the removal of improper additions and the improvement of accessibility and energy efficiency of the buildings.
