Land consolidation meeting in Snedsted to rule on Egebaksande plan

The Danish land consolidation commission is expected to issue its ruling and make the land exchanges final for the Egebaksande area, north-west of Snejstrup and Jannerup in Thisted Kommune, at a public meeting in Snedsted on 25 November 2026. The draft land consolidation plan is now ready to be presented to the commission, which will also consider any complaints and claims at the same session. The invitation to rights holders and other interested parties was published in Statstidende on 4 November 2026 under case number 10698, official reference S21102026-124.

Draft plan ready for the commission

The notice, issued under the category “Forskellige kundgørelser” with the heading “Jordfordeling – indkaldelse af rettighedshavere”, states that the draft land consolidation plan for Egebaksande is now complete and can be laid before the commission. The wording is explicit about what the meeting is expected to produce: a ruling, in Danish a kendelse, and the finalisation of the land exchanges that form part of the plan.

According to the announcement, the commission will at the same time “tage stilling til eventuelle klager og krav” – take a position on any complaints and claims submitted in the case. That makes the November session the point at which objections raised during the process are resolved, rather than a purely informational hearing.

The notice was signed in Tønder on 21 October 2026 by Hanne Rasmussen, and appeared in Statstidende roughly two weeks later, on 4 November 2026.

Time, place and formal details

The practical information published in the gazette is as follows:

  • Date: 25 November 2026
  • Time: 10:30
  • Venue: Hørdum Hallen, Sportsvej 12, 7752 Snedsted
  • Case number: 10698
  • Signed by: Hanne Rasmussen, Tønder, 21 October 2026
  • Published in: Statstidende, 4 November 2026, reference S21102026-124

The venue lies in the Thisted Kommune municipality that the plan concerns, a few kilometres from the Snejstrup and Jannerup area described in the notice as the north-western setting of the Egebaksande scheme.

Attendance is optional for landowners

The gazette notice carries an explicit reassurance for affected owners: “Det er ikke nødvendigt at deltage på mødet, for at der kan afsiges kendelse” – it is not necessary to attend the meeting for a ruling to be issued. In other words, absence does not block or delay the decision, and the commission can proceed whatever the turnout.

At the same time, rights holders and other interested parties are expressly invited. For local agricultural owners whose fields, access roads, boundaries or drainage are affected by the reallocation, the session is the published opportunity to hear the draft plan presented and to see how complaints and claims are handled before the exchanges become final.

A second north Jutland case the same day

The same edition of Statstidende carries a parallel notice for a different scheme, Lerkenfeld Å, covering the area between Farsø and Gedsted in Vesthimmerlands Kommune, reference S02112026-67. That meeting is also set for 25 November 2026, but at 14:00 at Vesterbølle Efterskole, Sognevejen 300, Vesterbølle, 9631 Gedsted, and the notice was signed in Tønder on 2 November 2026 by Helle Jürgensen.

The two notices follow the same template, from the heading and the standard wording on the ruling and the land exchanges to the closing line on attendance, which indicates a common administrative procedure for land consolidation cases across the two municipalities. No case number is given in the Lerkenfeld Å notice, unlike the Egebaksande announcement, which carries number 10698.

What the ruling means for local owners

For landowners around Egebaksande, 25 November 2026 is the date on which the shape of their holdings can change definitively: once the commission has ruled and the exchanges are made final, the reallocation set out in the draft plan takes legal effect. Owners who have submitted complaints or claims should note that these are to be decided at the same meeting, which is why the notice is addressed to rights holders rather than to the general public.

The practical consequence is that participation, while optional, is the last scheduled occasion published in the gazette at which affected parties can hear the plan presented in person before the decision is taken.
